Keeping Your Vibration High Is the Only Defense Against Today’s Offenses – Vibe High Poetrimony and Video

I don’t watch the news regularly. That ended years ago. But I do keep current on what’s going on. My primary approach is to read the post headlines on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, and Aljazeera websites. I also pop in and out of AM talk radio shows. Their discussions are frightening.

But, in spite of these things, I am not addicted to the news. Too much of it will influence my mind, spirit, and vibe. I check headlines because I feel that something is going to give. Every day it seems there’s more dismal news. I just want to be prepared.

The poem and video, Vibe High, is about the best way to be prepared for today’s challenges, raise your vibration. Don’t get caught in the weeds of the daily news. Connect more with your spiritual self for immunity against disaster du jour.

My Tribulations Were My Blessings – How ‘Seeking ‘The Answer Spiritually Transformed Me – Deepak Chopra, Nikki Giovanni & Video Poetrimony On Treasures In Trials

Ashes – Personal Context

I’ve had a pretty memorable life, and I’m not finished yet. I don’t say that lightly. I’ve been successful. I’ve had very tough times. I’ve faced near-death situations and serious health challenges a few times. I’ve been on the top and on the bottom. And I’ve endured through it all quite well, in spirituality and in life-awareness.

That is the backdrop to what the poem and video Ashes is all about. …The poem and video that I present in this post.

Obviously, I use the word ashes figuratively. It represents the ruins that I had to dig through to discern that the transformative journey that I traveled was ultimately a blessing.

I authored this poem years ago and decided to turn it into a video just recently. I wanted to convey the message visually. In the video, I am conveying my life journey, as well as the undoubtedly tough journeys of others, whose lives were transformed by difficult circumstances.

Dharma – Our Duty Is Written In The Cosmos As Law Not As Religion – Elevate Beyond Human Tendencies To Pursue UR Dharma – Through God As U Understand

My Evolving Understanding of Dharma

“We won’t achieve Dharma until we become honorable stewards of the universe, elevating our existence above human weaknesses and tendencies, and aligning ourselves with the divine order of God.

This is an intimidating task for most people.  But we can only discover our Dharma by actively working to peel away the layers of our own human imperfections first.  For this reason, I believe that achieving one’s Dharma is the ultimate of all personal and spiritual achievements.

Realizing Dharma is in effect reaching one’s cosmic truth which applies to all religions and spiritual beliefs because it is not religion.  Dharma is a universal truth.  Pursuing one’s Dharma, you get to choose your own God.” – Kevy Michaels

My Heart Drippings Went Into This Post! – The Evolution of Writing a Painful Memoir on Caregiving & Family Drama Is Transformative

I’ve got a story to tell.  I’ve mentioned it over the years in my blog, starting out with the series entitled, Terror on the Caregiver.

It is about how I am left feeling betrayed by my siblings and other family members, as I earnestly served as my mother’s sole caregiver, until her ascension.  It is a very painful story to tell, even nearly 10 years after the rivalry began.

I often stop, then start writing.  That’s because writing the story hurts me.  I recently hinted at this back and forth feeling in the post Maybe Is the Theme, dated February 1, 2022.  Each time I make substantial progress, I uncover yet another level of emotions, going through transformative experiences, examining myself, and trying to understand how God works each time.

As of today, the pain of the story becomes unbearable only on occasion.  Now, I accept that I must author this story for authoring it will give me the power to formally end hurting inside, and ultimately free myself from it. Gratitude – Another Aspect of Holistic Health – If You Are Unhappy & Unhealthy, Try Being More Grateful – In Spirit, Health & In How You’re Living – “The Science” Agrees!

I have these regular spontaneous moments, moments of deep Gratitude. Gratitude hits me deeply in my spirit and it hits me at random. I can never predict when it will happen. It doesn’t matter where I am. And, it has just hit me now, inspiring me to write this post!

The Spiritual Law of Pure Potentiality From Me – We Exist In The Field of Potentiality – In The Horn Of Plenty – 4 Ways To Connect With It

This is a repost because I want to impress on others that we are existing in that field, The Field of Pure Potentiality.

The general idea is that we are in the midst of abundance and possibilities.  We don’t have to seek it.  We’re in it!

We must instead vibrate higher holistically, in all that we do, even in our intentions.  …In our health, certainly in our spirit, lifestyle, and living…

We must elevate in all of these areas to access this field of abundance, where all that we desire is.

This year is expected to move very rapidly, in good and bad ways, in whichever direction we choose to place our energy.

Don’t lose sight of how rapidly 2020 and 2021 swooped by.

I suggest that you focus on accomplishing your dreams this year.  But, only after you have reached the Field of Pure Potentiality.  That will require living with the past differently, than in the past, and anticipating the mystery of the new world ahead.

Accept that ‘nobody really knows’, and be okay with that.  Focus on your vision, mission, and dreams wholeheartedly.   Kevy

The Spiritual Law of Pure Potentiality is Deepak Chopra’s first law.  I prefer this law as the last one, though.  This law instructs us on how to manifest our desires.  Its rules are simple to follow.  There are only 4 steps to access the field of potentiality.  Continue reading “The Spiritual Law of Pure Potentiality From Me – We Exist In The Field of Potentiality – In The Horn Of Plenty – 4 Ways To Connect With It”

Forgive & Forget The Past In God’s Time – But Hold On Its Wisdom -11 Tips On How To Roll With The Past – In 2022’s Energy Of Quantum Leaps, Fret Not!

“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,” – Philippians 3:13

Forgiving and forgetting are wise practices to exercise, as we are now in the new year of 2022.

Audio Comments On Forgiving & Forgetting The Past

This year promises to be a year of things moving extremely fast. Master Sri Akarshana refers to 2022 as the Quantum Leap year where everything, for and against our greatest good, will be moving rapidly, in health, wealth, and relationships.

So, we must be aware of the energies that surround us, and we, therefore, have no time to be absorbed into past pains. I say that we must forgive those pains, but remember, not forget, what caused them.

We must especially use lessons we learned from the past in the energy-dynamic environment that 2022 promises to be.

Master Sri Akarshana’s Predictions for 2022, explains that in 2022, things will be sped up and we will react in one of three ways, Quantum Leaping Forward, being the best:

  • Quantum Leap Backwards
  • Wait It Out – Hoping Only but doing nothing
  • Quantum Leaping Forward

Check out his video first, to understand the context in which I offer my reflections on Forgiving and Forgetting.

Photographer & Creator Brandyce (Bran-dis) On Reflecting – Moving Forward – A Review Of 2020 – 2022 In Numerology – She’s A Certified Holistic Nutritionist Too Y’all!

I love this time of year because it is a time of reflection, but for me, it triggers a deeper self-reflection, as it has for me for the last, I would say 30 or more years.

I just celebrated my birthday on January 5th, just a few days ago. With my birthday landing right after Christmas and New Year’s, I began soul searching around Christmas time, while everyone else seemed to be shopping and celebrating. As I mentioned, my holiday season celebrations are spent mostly alone and in nature, as was my birthday “celebration.”

I love the beginning and end of each year. As would be expected, at the end of the year, I usually aim to end a behavior, habit, relationship, or end an unhealthy lifestyle practice. At the beginning of the year, I reflect on how I will adapt to the change in era, time, and vibration. …Or changes in me. I try not to superimpose the prior year on the new year, just as I see ‘every day as a clean slate’. It is a given for me that the new year must be different in some way.

In this year, 2022, I have already accepted that “normal” no longer exists and will never return. I feel more certain that in 2022 I will not be trying to convince others who are on a whole different vibe than I am. I will be trying to connect more with others who are already on or near the vibe where I reside.

I have met such high-vibers through the Seasons as My Teacher blog. I love how blogging allows us to connect with other like-minded people, who have the passion to write, and read posts. It takes a certain calmness to take the time to do so juxtaposed with fast-paced social media.

Deepak Chopra’s Spiritual Law of Giving & Receiving – It’s 1 Law With 2 Parts – We Have A Hand for Giving & A Hand for Receiving – Use Both Hands to Get the Law Right!

“The universe operates through a dynamic exchange…. Giving and Receiving are different aspects of the flow of energy in the universe. And in our willingness to give that which we seek, we keep the abundance of the universe circulating in our lives.” – Deepak Chopra – The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success

The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success

This post is on the Spiritual Law of Giving & Receiving, taken from Deepak Chopra’s book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, that I read over 20 years ago.

The principles presented in this short book are as dear to me as are the bible’s principles. I have distributed copies of this book to others around the world. I live by all seven of its principles.

Quotes & Videos For Days On Courage – There Is A Calling To Be Bold & Have Courage – To Be Okay With Uncertainty – Maybe U Are Being Summoned?

“Courage is not just plunging in when you don’t know the way, it is plunging in and being okay with not knowing the way.” – Kevy Michaels

I’m not one to bite my tongue when it comes to expressing how I feel. But that’s because today I have courage. I didn’t always have courage. In the past, my fears were really centered around being accepted by others, having low self-esteem, and not being confident in myself. I spent a great deal of my life trying to please others. Because of that fear, and not having courage, I made my life quite miserable. I made many mistakes. But, even in those mistakes, I’m so grateful. Because, that’s why I have the courage today, and I can speak up.

History Repeats – It’s Already Been Told – History, The Remix

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” – Spanish philosopher George Santaya

I am not shy about offering my opinion on diverse topics, offering my perspective, based on my journey.

Though my way of seeing life and spirit may differ from that of others, I feel it necessary to share mines with you. I share so openly to strengthen my own faith. I proclaim my convictions, sometimes audaciously. I also do so because I believe that most people, especially Black people only hear their arguments. They preach to each other, preaching to the choir, themselves.

History repeats itself. I provide several examples in this post. I present my perspective visually, and in Poetrimony, in a video that I produced.

History Repeats – It’s Already Been Told – History, The Remix | World Relations – Seasons As My Teacher – Kevy Michaels

This is a video about history repeating itself in many ways, including Genocide, Pandemics, School Shootings, Economic Crashes, Military Miscalculations, Mass Extinctions, Racism, Assassinations, etc. It’s Already Been Told is an original poem, cast to jazz music, and vivid visuals.

History repeats on various dimensions. As with most things in life, I tend to not restrict myself to a one-dimensional view.

My Mother’s 103rd Birthday – 96 Years On Earth + 7 Years In Heaven – Her Influence Still Lingers – Pearls Of Wisdom Bestowed From Serving As Her Caregiver – Caregivers Inherit Virtues & Wisdom

Just last week, I celebrated my mother’s 103rd birthday! You may find from prior posts about my mother, that she is ‘my favorite girl in the world’. We were always ultra-close from childhood until her ascension.

Perhaps it was because I was her last child and because my father died 8 months after I was born. I don’t know, but our connection was strong, ride-or-die-strong’, and everyone in my immediate family knew it. She made it clearer than I did.

Caring for my mother for several years was a tumultuous experience emotionally, spiritually, physically, and logistically. We moved together across 3 states, dismantling and reassembling what we would call home, until our final destination in Denver, Colorado. She transitioned several months after our arrival, succumbing to cancer.

Inner Peace 2.0 – Believe Da Science – Believe Da Quotes – Believe Prophets – In Nature Inner Peace Is Priceless – U Don’t Have To Believe Me

In Inner Peace Part Two, in this follow-up to yesterday’s post, I provide limited personal commentary.  The focus here is on what has been said about Inner Peace by those in Faith & Science.

I have said what I had to say and tried my best to describe the experience.  In this post, I focus on what Scientists, Doctors, Prophets, and Spiritual Leaders have said about Inner Peace.

I have found that achieving it works best when in nature.  They seem to agree.  Therefore, I included information on tools in nature that complement achieving inner peace and healing too.  I also added handpicked quotes on Inner Peace the resonate with me.  Continue reading “Inner Peace 2.0 – Believe Da Science – Believe Da Quotes – Believe Prophets – In Nature Inner Peace Is Priceless – U Don’t Have To Believe Me”

Inner Peace – Personally & Poetically – 2 Me – How To Attain Inner Peace – Part 1

I sincerely share this post to proclaim that Inner Peace is the most valuable gift that God has given us.

In Inner Peace lies Acceptance, Surrender, Trust, Belief, and Patience.  These virtues are beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit.

Inner Peace was not always accessible to me.  At a time when I earned six figures, I stressed my mind and spirit to keep money flowing.  That was over 20 years ago before I became a new man.  Today, friends and colleagues attempt to entice me to return to ‘the game’, to be it in IT, bitcoin investments, small business adventures, or money-making ideas du jour.

I have no plans to return to that noisy chaotic world again, though.  I fear what money and chasing after it would do to the Inner Peace that I now have.  I never want to lose this.  I have no interest in going viral or monetizing for profit.  Over a year ago, I deleted my Facebook, Linked In, and other social media accounts.

I do wish to reach more people but to do so, unfortunately, costs money.  So, I reach who I can on my personal but limited budget.  But I do, therefore, maintain my Inner Peace.

Achieving Inner Peace in the New World Order, in our new post coronavirus world, is essential.  There are many human challenges that can distract us from this gift, and worse can bring out the worse in us.

I recommend attempting to attain Inner Peace, in your chosen way, as a regular part of your Physical, Spiritual, and Mental Health, especially today.  In this post, I share how I maintain Inner Peace.  Kevy Continue reading “Inner Peace – Personally & Poetically – 2 Me – How To Attain Inner Peace – Part 1”

SHARE – Mothers Are Closer To God – Honor UR Mother While She Is With U – Worship Her When She Is Gone – Attend This Inspirational & Touching Service Honoring Mothers

“Men are what their mothers made them.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson

I hold mothers in the deepest regard. I believe that mothers are closer to heaven than any other humans.

For example, when I learned about the magnificence of the human body, it became undeniable that God is real. Man could never create such a magnificent creation as a human being. A mother can, though.

I give mothers spiritual reverence because of this. They make a covenant with the Universal Divine Mother (God) to create children. Childbirth is a partnership between Mothers & God.

My mother was incredibly special to me. She’s, my angel. I’ve said repeatedly that we should honor mothers while they are here. and worship them when are gone. I worship my mother today and honored her when she was with me, especially while in my care, in her later years.

Mothers Have A Special Connection With God – Honor Them While They Are With U – Worship Them When They Are Gone

Originally Published on Mother’s Day 2020; Updated May 2, 2021 for Mother’s Day 2021

2021

This is what I call a freehand post.

This is why I am posting it so late into the morning, for me. I generally wake up early in the morning with the spirits, good ones of course.

I am in Washington Park, Denver Colorado, USA. I’m about to ground, pray, and meditate.

Today is Mother’s Day. This is always an emotional time for me because I loved my mother intensely. We loved and trusted each other equally. You could say I was her Golden Child. I treated her like a queen. Caring for her in her final year near costed every thing I possessed, nearly my life. And, if I could have given, for her, I would have.

I travelled the world with her, Africa, Europe, The US, Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, Middle East, and more. She was “my favorite girl in the world”.

This was magical for her, She was a humble woman, born into servitude.

She lived through the Great Depression, the Spanish Influenza Pandemic, served as a maid for nearly 50 years, raising 5 children, and 9 of her own.

She was left to solely care for her mother and grandfather and forgave her high school education to serve, when called.

She was incredible, born on the Day of the Feast of the Guardian Angels!

She is now my Guardian Angel.

She taught me how to smile, through storms, and how to conquer them.

She placed fire in my heart to be passionate in Faith, Truth, Determination, and Serving, or not at all.

She is the foundation of who I am.

Guest Blogger – God Created Everything – Evil Too? – Are We His Puppets? – Distinguished Dr. Bob Rich Answers These Questions

I apologize to Dr. Bob Rich (Bob) for the delay in posting this article. It was submitted to me weeks ago, and outside of a busy schedule, my spirit has been a bit fragile.

Like many I would suppose, I have been emotionally and spiritually impacted by the whirlwind of challenges and changes that planet Earth and civilization have been catapulted into enduring over the past year. I have been significantly enlightened by how your challenges have separated us along many fronts including racially, politically, spiritually, and “vaccine vs. no vaccine”.

Today’s divisions seem to pale in comparison with historical ones. I have separated from many spirits vibes, and energies that no longer serve me, some in my family, some close friends. In today’s times, I find it necessary.

Gaining a better understanding of God, Life, and Myself is an undeniable blessing. But it is also a challenging responsibility. It can be draining at times and requires an escape from it all, as well as regular metaphysical practices. Kevy

Furthermore, while in this fragile state, I read Bob’s essay on God’s Puppets. It really threw me off track for weeks. I read it about four times. I used AI to convert it to Australian speech so that I could listen to it and pause it occasionally to reflect and absorb. By the way, Dr. Bob Rich is Australian.

I Am Gifted! – We All Become Gifted By Doing 1 Thing – Accepting That We Are – 50+ Tips On Being Gifted

This is another one of those deep, heartfelt posts.  I hope that you take the time to review it in its entirety.  This is real talk.  If it is not inviting to you, that is fine too.  It is about being gifted.  I Am.  You can be too, by doing one thing.  The gift has already been given to you by The Most High.  Accepting it, and God’s desire for your use of this gift transforms you from merely being a gift recipient into being Gifted.  I Am Gifted.

I’m gifted, I can now say!

How arrogant, narcissistic, and egotistical you may first say.  But I believe that we all have a spiritual gift.  God has endowed us all with a spiritual gift that cannot be taken away.  It can’t be reversed.  It’s in us all.  It’s like death.   Death is certain.  There’s nothing that can reverse it.  Our endowed gift from God in within us.  Whether we accept it or not, it is still in us.

I know that I’m gifted.  My confidence dwells in my willingness to accept the gift that God has given me.  Proclaiming this is not based on any superior intentions.   Many of us have gifts.  We all have gifts that God has given us all.  It is our dharma, a purpose, a mission.  What makes us gifted, as opposed to just having a gift, is our willingness to acknowledge and accept that gift.

I will share with you some ways that led me to conclude that I am gifted, beyond just accepting god’s will,  whatever it is for me. Continue reading “I Am Gifted! – We All Become Gifted By Doing 1 Thing – Accepting That We Are – 50+ Tips On Being Gifted”

7 Days 7+ Quotes – Integrity – A Value We Impose On Ourselves – It Says Everything About Who We Are – 9 Tips to Help You Strengthen Your Integrity

“Lying lips [are] abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly [are] his delight.” – Proverbs 12:22

Integrity is one of my most valuable virtues.

Now that I am well on my spiritual journey, maintaining Integrity has become of greater importance in every choice that I make or action I take.

The reason I give Integrity such importance has to do partly with my age and experience.  And, having had many people in my life who were not “of their word”.  …Friends, Family, and Colleagues.

The choices and challenges that I face today are generally not new ones. As they say, ‘This is not my first rodeo’. It seems that most of the choices I face today are ones in which I am already well-experienced. On most challenges to my Integrity, I have made incorrect choices in the past, and am well aware of the consequences of not being true. So, I ensure that I am, no matter what the truth may bear.

It may not be easy for others to make the correct choices, and to be regarded as men or women of their my word.  …Not I!

Aging has also caused me to focus more on a legacy. My legacy is important to me. The reason it is of such importance is that when God comes for me, I want to be able to leave a message, purpose, and inspiration behind for others.

I am very serious about leaving a legacy. My tombstone is already engraved with: ‘His mission on Earth is complete’.

I simply do not see my life today as exclusively dedicated to myself. I do for others in daily deeds, but also for my best virtues to be reflected upon and be useful to others.

My poetry, stories, social media content, and blog posts reflect the legacy that I am creating. I practice what I preach, believe the things I write, eat the foods I recommend, and follow the health regimens that I write about. God’s Purpose For UR Life Is Imprinted On UR Heart – Deepak’s Spiritual Law of Dharma Shows U How To Discover UR True Self – UR True Purpose

In today’s turbulent times it would be prudent to go within to examine yourself.  There is something very beautifully unique about each of us that we must discover and share with the world.

Now is the time to calibrate our spirits, fine-tune our vibrations.  This is something over which we have complete control, unlike our uncertain future, given today’s racial protests and the coronavirus pandemic.

Tuning the spirit is the most that we can do to prepare ourselves for what may come, which is an unknown.  Though what awaits us is a mystery, we would be better prepared to rest on a strong identity of self and a fortified spiritual foundation than not.

I am basking in the joy of having elevated my spirit years ago.  During today’s Racial Revolution and COVID19 pandemic, I have not been fearful.  In fact, my creativity and energy have been elevated, as well.  For me, it is an exciting time.  In contrast, I see a correlation between those not in touch with their inner spirit and being fearful, worried, and physically unhealthy.

This post is based on the principles in the book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, by Deepak Chopra.  Today we focus on the Spiritual Law of Dharma.  Dharma is your purpose in life.  This law requires that we find life’s purpose for the spiritual embryo within ourselves and pursue it with vigor.

When I first reintroduced the Seven Spiritual Laws series, I adapted it for the crisis of the day, which was only the coronavirus pandemic.  I only covered one of the spiritual laws so far, The Law of Detachment.  I took the liberty of rearranging the order of Deepak Chopra’s laws because they work in order, individually and in mixed order when you practice them regularly.

How I Feel About Jared Kushner’s Statement On “The Black People” Not Desiring Success – Ya Know The Ole, You Can Lead A Horse To Water, But U Can’t Make That MOFO Drink

November 4, 2020, Post Election Night Comments

Last night’s US election results clearly show that the United States of America is Racist, embraces corruption, and has limited regard for humanity or our God-given paradise.  – Kevy

We now have the perfect ingredients laid out on the table for the preparation of a savory pot of Revolution Gumbo.

This post focuses on Jared Kushner’s comments about Black people, but it does much more.

It points out where I believe that Blacks can up their game, Big Time!  Perhaps the realization of the election will catapult their understanding, solidarity, and swift action.

…Perhaps Liberal White Boomers too, who desire harmonious Race Relations, but not Racial Equality or Racial Equity if it adversely affects their privilege and 401Ks.

It also neatly ties together opinions that I have shared in prior posts that seem to be coming into fruition.  Kevy

November 3, 2020

I have the windows open here in Colorado and it’s in the 70s.  It’s an incredibly beautiful day.  We get a lot of sunshine here.

I wanted to send this post because I know a lot of people have anxiety about the election even if they are not in America because it’s going to affect them in some way.  I don’t really have a lot of anxiety, but I do know that our future is going to be more different than our past.  …Much different.  I don’t know how but I do feel in my spirit that there is a calling.  And it’s not a calling for a prophet or messiah.  It’s a calling of several of them.  …To prepare, adapt, as well as continue to move this shift in the right direction.

This is Very Personal – The Prayers That I Say – Some I’ve Written – Others, I’ve Rewritten

And The Ones That I’ve Written

Years ago, I was asked by a customer at Whole Foods Market what type of meditation do I do, after she shared with me that she meditates. I used to meet a lot of customers who meditate at Whole Foods. That’s because there is an obvious correlation between being healthy and being holy.

I am always challenged when I am asked how I meditate. Most people who ask this, have been professionally trained or studied a particular method on their own, and can quickly provide their type. I can’t.  I guess I could say mindfulness.  I can’t be specific namely, because my method is a hybrid form of meditation that evolved organically for me, beginning over 30 years ago.

Though I meditate, it is very rare that I would meditate, and not pray also. They go hand and hand for me. There is one exception, one which I experience when I receive acupuncture.  I practice meditation when I receive Acupuncture, but I do not pray in this meditation. In this meditation, I don’t recite an affirmation or say anything. I simply visualize until my senses go beyond the needles, moxibustion, and even an itch.  …or an urge to pee.

Otherwise, I pray even when I call it meditation.

Give It Up For Guest Blogger Wic! – I Am Digging Wic – We Are Vibing Thru Blogging Across The Planet & Never Met! – Wic Believes In Seeking God In Nature & Not Only In “A Book” – I Can Go Along With That

Kevy’s Comment

I am very excited to feature fellow blogger Wic, and giving him a grand showcasing.

Photo Of Wic

A few weeks ago, I found fellow bloggers with whom I connected in several ways, namely in perspective on life, love, and spirituality, just by reading their posts. I posted comments to several of their posts and asked their permission to feature them on my site.

Wic gave me permission a week ago, but I have been so busy that I had become drained and had to get away from computers, blogging, television, and all things media. Do you ever get that way as a blogger? I hope that Wic appreciates that I was not going to force introducing him to my followers. I just can’t do things normally. My friends from New Orleans says that I always have to “add cayenne” to everything I do.

As I mentioned in a post comment, I no longer hold on to old relationships that don’t vibe with who I am today just because of history or tradition. Many of those relationships were simply held together by kinship, religion, race, or class, but not by spiritual connection. None of these things have anything to do with my true spirit, my true essence, today.

Therefore, in these crucial times, I have abandoned many relationships, including family ones, that do not elevate my spirit. Instead, I find adventure in meeting new kindred spirits randomly, such as Wic’s.

Yesterday I reviewed the blogs of several of my followers.  I follow them as well.  I found that we are connected in several ways, namely in perspective on life, love, and spirituality, just by reading their posts.  I posted comments to several of the posts that inspired me and asked their permission to feature them on my site.

Treasure Curry was one of those bloggers who I’ve decided to feature today.

As I mentioned in a post comment, I no longer hold on to old relationships that don’t vibe with who I am today just because of history or tradition.  Many of those relationships were simply held together by kinship, religion, race, or class, but not by spiritual connection.  None of these things have to do with my true spirit, my true essence.

Therefore, in these crucial times, I have abandoned many relationships, including family ones, that do not elevate my spirit.  Instead, I find adventure in meeting new kindred spirits randomly, such as Treasure Curry’s.

Her post, on keeping our vibration high, caught my eye because in my post on Pure Potentiality, I emphasized elevating to a higher vibration.  Treasure’s post highlights 20 quotes for keeping our vibration high.  I enjoy each of them.  She gave me permission to feature her post, and to feature her. Devirusize – Take Off Your Shoes! – You Should Hit The Ground After Reading This Post! – It Will Give U Access To Calm, Healing & Love – When U Need It Most – Practice Grounding & Earthing

Grounding

I am back with a new post and this is a really important one.

This represents a new element to the Devirusize protocol.  “Devirusize” is a word I that invented in order categorize my suggestions for making your body optimally healthy.  On my blog, search the word “Devirusize” to find other related posts.

This element of optimal wellness is on Earthing or Grounding.  I am unsure, but I would imagine that Earthing’s distinction is that in addition to grounding, it includes hugging trees, sitting, or standing in water, or on rocks.  Grounding involves intimate contact with the ground, preferably while barefoot.

It has taken me quite some time to pull this post together because, as with all my posts, I include a lot of content.  And I research and dig into each subject, reviewing all of the included videos.  This process is not just a labor of love, because I become well-versed in many areas of living from doing so.

This grounding thing is amazing!  I want everybody to look into!  It doesn’t cost you anything and if you really get into it, even if you spend money on devices, you’ll find that it’s not extremely expensive compared to the benefit that you get from grounding.

First of all, I ground all the time.  I’ll do it today.  I am doing it frequently because I am expecting Colorado’s winter.  Believe it or not, it snowed here about two weeks ago.  Three days later, it was 85°.

This the post includes me recording myself while grounding, just to give you an idea of how I feel when I am grounding.  …To let you see what I am seeing.  In addition to my own video, I include other videos on grounding from experts, with supporting scientific evidence.  In fact, there’s US government research that says grounding helps with inflammation and cancer and all sorts of diseases and dis-ease.  It is unbelievable that enough people don’t know about grounding and practice it regularly! Spiritual Vs Religious – Oh Yea I’m Going There – Religious Drama – They Should Have Listened To Their Momma – 15+ Reasons Why I Question Religious Drama

If you have reviewed at least a few of my over 200 blog posts (and now podcasts) you would clearly know that I am not a big fan of organized religion.

Like many people, I have adopted the position of being spiritual, but not religious. At times, I despise religion. …Too much drama. I am amazingly comfortable with my position until I am changed in mind (through experience and research) and spirit (through God’s intervention).

In this post, I reveal 15+ reasons why I shy away from Religion and Religious Drama. Some of the most negative experiences that I’ve had were with Religious people. …Ones who judge about what I would call minor sins such as using profanity, eating pork, or being too proud, while they blatantly violate in worst ways.

As I am judged by them, I could think of a plethora of violations that they make, “In the name of Jesus/Allah”. I don’t tell them directly. I tell them in general through my creative, written, and media works. But I admit that it is a bit frustrating.

I try my best to stay clear of these types of people, though they seem to be drawn to me. I simply respect their beliefs (for them) but fully exercise my right to free will and thought. They spit on me with scripture, while I realize that the bible has 900 versions, and the Quran has 30. I consider that there are missing books, slavery’s influence, and man’s interpretation, depriving me of mine. I am not sure that they realize this.

If U Cared For UR Mother & Now She Is Gone – U Will Like This Post – If U Neglected Her or Conspired To – Go To Hell!

I finished this poem this morning while sitting on the grass in a park, reflecting.  I was Grounding in multiple ways.

I translated the poem in various languages based on website views, by country.   I used Google Translate to convert it from English.  Please let me know if the translation is correct, in any language.

I love my mother very much, in any language.

I wrote the poem in this post on my smartphone so there isn’t much glitz and glamor to offer.

I don’t expect those who were not willing to be caregivers for their mother to understand why 6 years after my mother transcended, I continue to worship her like she is still here.

I certainly don’t expect my fake-faithful siblings, family members, and New Orleans’ Metro non-profit deviously-operated senior agencies to appreciate this post.  This is not for them.  But, there is a slight possibility that one or two may be reflective on their deeds and surrender their sins against their mother (or someone else’s) to God.

They have the freedom to not receive these messages by asking me to not send them my post, or they can just ignore them.  Lately, they’ve said nothing and believe in their imaginary innocence. …for six years now.

This post is for those who really love their mothers, who cared for them in their final days, as I did with honor.  This is for those same beautiful children of God who believe that their mother is still with them, protecting and watching over them.

As for the other losers, who neglected their mother when she was near death, for greed, power, or resentment, or those who were complicit in the sabotage of a frail mother’s well-being, may you enjoy your day in hell.  You will meet a lot of your relatives and friends there.

I am sure that my siblings, family members, and New Orleans agencies that participated in the Terror Against The Caregiver (Me or You) are destined for hell, if not already there on Earth.

I cannot see or talk directly to my mother today.  For that, I have no regrets.  She’s left me with a lot of fond memories.  I can feel her spirit in me, and around me.

I believe that only those who have shown God’s love to their mothers, when they were frail and dying, get to gain such access to their spirit when they become Guardian Angels, as my mother did.  She was born on October 2, 1918, the day of the Feast of the Guardian Angels day

Thanks, Lil Eunice for granting me access to your spirit.  Thanks for your guidance and protection.  Thanks, God for allowing me to access you, through my dear Lil Eunice!

As for the ungodly ones, in my family circle, and outside of it, I hope it pains you, not having such access, but instead, having access to the pain you caused her before she ascended to heaven.

I am not being cruel.  Everyone must pay someday for their deeds, I included.

They too, however, do have access to God, but only in Truth & Surrender to his Truth.  May they open that door, I pray.

…May they change their wicked ways.  Ironically many of my siblings are mothers.  With regard to those for whom this post resonates, I am sure that your caregiving antagonizers are mothers too.  In fact, nearly all of my only siblings that remain on Earth today are mothers.  They all had a mother, a beautifully spiritual and strong one.   Their day of reckoning shall come.

There is nothing that I must do to facilitate their future or present crisis moment.  God has got that covered.  I only need to remain Truthful and Faithful.  That I am.   Continue reading “If U Cared For UR Mother & Now She Is Gone – U Will Like This Post – If U Neglected Her or Conspired To – Go To Hell!”

In The Midst Of Fear & Worry This Just May Be UR Season – We Should Endure More Like Trees

“Spring passes and one remembers one’s innocence.
Summer passes and one remembers one’s exuberance.
Autumn passes and one remembers one’s reverence.
Winter passes and one remembers one’s perseverance.” Yoko Ono

“While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease” – Genesis 8:22

“If we had no winter, the spring would not be so pleasant: if we did not sometimes taste of adversity, prosperity would not be so welcome.”Anne Bradstreet, The Works of Anne Bradstreet
“1 To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted”Ecc 3:1-2

Coming to an understanding of how seasons work in my life has been one of my most profound discoveries.

Deepak Don’t Throw Shade – I Just Gave UR 7 Spiritual Laws Swag! – Kevy’s 1st Law Of Detachment – The Corona Remix – Law On Not Letting Corona Freak U Out

“Action without attachment is the secret to a life without stress” – Deepak Chopra

I hope that Deepak doesn’t hate me for bastardizing the order and interpretation of the original Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.  Today I begin with the first of seven posts, one for each law.

This post is on ‘my first’ law, The Law of Detachment.

I say ‘my first law’ because, this is not Deepak’s first law.  I chose the Law of Detachment first because it highlights a key virtue for enduring through the Coronavirus pandemic.  It is expressed in the quote above, being detached from outcomes, is the key to living a stress-free life.  With regard to the pandemic, we should simply trust God and be unattached to fear and worry about what will happen.  That is the Lord’s job, not ours.  The other six laws are equally important, but not as the first law, in my opinion.

I don’t believe that Deepak will be upset with me bedazzling the principles.  Hating is not his nature.  Besides, in this small life-transforming book Deepak asks readers to share the seven principles with others.  I am doing so now with you.

The Seven Spiritual Laws of SuccessDeepak Chopra’s book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, resonated with me so well that I took heed to each of the laws as I started implementing them in my life over 20 years ago. I was so astonished by these simple laws of living, that I shared the “good news” with everyone who I felt would be receptive.

I’ve given copies of the book in Costa Rica, South Africa, Europe, and other countries, including here in the States. I’ve given the book to friends, family, and complete strangers, in person, and through the blog and on social media.

Needless to say, I am all but evangelically about the message in this less than a 100-page book. Continue reading “Deepak Don’t Throw Shade – I Just Gave UR 7 Spiritual Laws Swag! – Kevy’s 1st Law Of Detachment – The Corona Remix – Law On Not Letting Corona Freak U Out”

Mothers Are To Be Loved & Honored – They Have A Special Connection With God – How Else Could The Miracle Of Birth Occur?

This is what I call a freehand post. This is why I am posting it so late into the morning.

I am just typing it onto the webpage as thoughts come to mind. I did not have time to prepare for this post because I have been reflecting on my mother so intensely.

I was so focused on saying the right words that I just could not pull it together.

So, here I am on the morning of Mother’s Day, without a clue as to what to say. I am adlibbing y’all.

Mother’s Day, my mother’s birthday, and the day of her passing are always very introspective. I appreciate the beauty of having 3 official days on the calendar to reflect on how much I love my mother, the wisdom she passed on to me, and how much she loves me.

Sometimes I want to be apologetic about the closeness of our relationship, relative to my siblings, but I have nothing to apologize about. I simply loved her very much, and she had unshakable love and trust for me, entrusting me with solely caring for her, in the final 4+ years of her illustrious life.

I know that it is not good to think of mothers having favorites, but I may have been hers. She is certainly “my favorite girl in the world”.

I was her favorite namely because I was given additional pampering as an infant to compensate for my father dying when I was 8 months old. Those early years were formative because they cast an impenetrable bond between us.

Later, I would show my appreciation by treating her like a queen all of my adult life. Eventually, it was as if I was her mother because I cared for her until she transitioned at the ripe age of 96.

“In This Corner, Religion” – “In This Corner, Spirituality” – Religion VS Spirituality – Yeah, I’m Gonna Go There!

The world is a kind of spiritual kindergarten where millions of bewildered infants are trying to spell “God” with the wrong blocks. – Edwin Arlington Robinson

I can no longer say that I am a religious man.  I am a spiritual man, with religion in my spirit, but I am not a regular participant in organized religion.

I haven’t fancied being a part of any large organized groups in general, since high school.  Therefore, part of my reason for not being religious is that I do not like to be a part of large groups.

Being a religious man is like saying that you are an outdoorsman, a romantic man, or even a party man.  The driving words before ‘man’ implies regularly participating in that specific sort of activity, outdoor sports, romance, and partying, respectively.

I am not a religious man because I do not regularly go to church.

I stopped going on a regular basis in 2014 after my mother passed.  When caring for her, I attended Catholic mass, our family religion, out of respect for her.  I have years prior moved away from the Catholic church.  I came back to respect your religion.  Though my mother was religious, she was also spiritual.  One does not have to negate the other though it often does. I Knew This Day Would Come But Didn’t Expect It To Be Today – It Must Be The Grounding!

I knew that after taking as much time off as I needed, I would one day return to posting on the blog.

I never stop writing, but most of it is personal or pieces I share in writing workshops.  Otherwise, I’ve been very private about my writing.  I have a great deal that I have yet to share.

This is why I often say that I write when I want to.  My writing tends to reveal my deepest feelings and in opening up that much, I must ‘feel’ doing so in my spirit before I really can.

Well, today is one such day! I think I may have mustered up the courage to write again.

I recently endured through a very challenging life trial, the first of its kind for me.  I went from worry, to fear, to awakening, and breakthrough, over the past few months.  Nonetheless, I held true to writing.  Most of it was written in private on my smartphone as draft emails that were never sent.

Until I get into the full swing of blogging regularly, I ask that you bear with me.

I really have been through a great deal, really.  I am, though, once again changed.

I feel spiritually transformed in an even greater way.  The primary reason is that during my trials, as with this recent one, I found myself coping alone, after disappointedly expecting at least a small entourage of support from those around me.

And it each of these trials, I ultimately surrendered to The Lord, totally.  In every case, I was victorious, even when it appeared that I really wasn’t.

I have yet again been vibrationally elevated!  I can feel it but have not yet discerned how the universe wants me to use it.  I am awaiting the answer in a whispered message, at the most unexpected time.

Bear with my blogging because it may seem random.  I will start by sharing some private poetry and try to build full posts around it.

And U! And U! You Will Respect Me! – 7 Days 7+ Quotes – On Respect

Less than a month ago, on January 5, 2019, I celebrated my 59th birthday.  I celebrated it alone because I chose to.  I rarely drink and don’t like bars, so that was out of the question.  Every time I drink, usually one drink, I just get cranky and sleepy.  And, I can feel even the slightest effect on my body.  I just don’t feel balanced the next morning.

I can’t remember how the weather was, but I don’t drive when there is snow or ice on the road.  I thought I’d just stay home instead.

Don’t go feeling sorry for me, though.  It was by choice and by the circumstance that I was alone on my birthday.   I just don’t vibrate the way I used to.  In the past, I would have partied hardy.

But in a spur of the moment, I treated myself to a Mexican feast.  I didn’t have to drive far because the restaurant is located virtually across the street.  When the staff got word that it was my birthday, they sent me a Margarita and a shot of tequila.  I ate well and drank both drinks.  I left joyful and tipsy.  It was a great night, nonetheless!

All week I had a burning desire to write about Respect and had planned to do it that night.  But by the time I got home, at about 8 pm, I could not write.  My head was not there.  It was a very funny thought of me even trying to because lately, I have been dictating my posts through a new Blue microphone that I recently purchased for video audio narrating, and maybe later for podcasts.

The way that I felt that night, this story would have come out all wrong.  The AI in Microsoft Word’s dictation functionality was not developed for slurred speech.  So, I put this post on the shelf.

Then before I knew it, about a month flew by.  I was inundated with tasks related to school scholarships, writing, attending workshops, copyediting, and feeling deeper that I needed a change in my life.  I felt that a major change was to occur in 2019.  I didn’t think hard enough to know exactly how, but I knew that it would.  I still don’t know how. Law of Pure Potentiality – Kevy’s Experience In The Field of Pure Potentiality – Fighting The Gravity Of Life – Part 2

“The experience the Self or “self-referral”, means that our internal reference point is our own spirit, and not the objects of our experience. – Deepak Chopra – Washington Post

7 Laws of Spiritual SuccessThe spiritual Law of Pure Potentiality requires that we reach our essential state of pure consciousness.  The field of pure potentiality is an abundant spiritual influence, and in our essential state, we become our spiritual selves and are therefore granted access to God’s horn of plenty.

The law of Pure Potentiality recognizes that there is one divine spirit that connects us all, including nature, in spite of our seemingly infinite diversity. The only thing that separates us from the field is not knowing or experiencing our true nature, not embracing God in us all.

Discovering our soul should be our greatest desire for in this discovery, we are granted access to healing, wisdom, virtue, and many blessings, in the field of pure potentiality.

Experiencing and knowing our true self is critical to the law.  Our reference point must be on our own spirit, not anything external to us.  This is important because it requires relinquishing control from our egos, and seeking God within us.  This lens connects us to the God of the universe.

This means that our life experiences should never be influenced by objects outside the Self, such situations, circumstances, people, and things, seeking approval of others, or response to our every action.  Living this way fear-based.  Living in fear never has beneficial consequences.  Living in fear is like living without trusting God.

In self-referral, we become unfearful of any challenge, have respect for all people, but feel beneath no one. Self-power is therefore true power.  Power based on object-referral (external things), however, is false power.

Self-power is eternal because it is based on the knowledge of the Self.  It will draw people to you, as well as the things that you desire. It magnetizes people, situations, and circumstances to support your desires.

“This is also called support from the laws of nature. It is the support of divinity; it is the support that comes from being in the state of grace. Your power is such that you enjoy a bond with people, and people enjoy a bond with you. Your power is that of bonding – a bonding that comes from true love.” – Deepak Chopra

Deepak Chopra’s Seven Laws of Spiritual Success

I held off for some time before completing the series on The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, a life-changing book by Deepak Chopra that I first read about 20 years ago.  This book is my favorite spiritual guidance go-to!  I have read it several times and have distributed copies to people around the world.  I can say that I strive to live by each of the seven principles in this book. The 1st Law of Spiritual Success – Pure Potentiality – We’re In An Abundant Vibration – How To Access It! – Part 1

“You are what your deep, driving desire is. As your desire is, so is your will. As your will is, so is your deed. As your deed is, so is your destiny.” – Brihadaranyaka Upanishad

Today I am moved to complete the series of posts on Deepak Chopra’s magnificent 82-page book, entitled The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, climaxing with my interpretation of the Law of Pure Potentiality.

I am both so moved by this principle that I have more content than I can share in one post.  I, therefore, have divided the post on The Spiritual Law of Pure Potentiality into two parts.

The posts will complete my discussion of The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success.  Just as I have reread Deepak’s book for many years, I have no doubt that I will revisit these laws in future posts.  Outside of being an honor student in ‘the school of hard knocks’, reading this book had the greatest positive impact on my spiritual growth and self-actualization.

I highly recommend that you read or reread this book!

9 Characteristics of Self-Actualized People – By Kendra Cherry – Updated November 27, 2018

In psychology, self-actualization is achieved when you’re able to reach your full potential. Being truly self-actualized is considered the exception rather than the rule since most people are working to meet more pressing needs.

  1. They Have Peak Experiences – They Have feelings of limitless horizons
  2. They Possess Self-Acceptance and a Democratic World View – They fully accept themselves. They also embrace other people for who they are
  3. They Are Realistic
  4. They Tend to Be Problem-Centered – They are motivated by a strong sense of personal ethics and responsibility.
  5. The Self-Actualized Person Is Autonomous – They don’t conform to other people’s ideas of happiness or contentment
  6. They Enjoy Solitude and Privacy – Taking time to themselves is essential for their personal discovery and cultivating their potential.
  7. They Have a Philosophical Sense of Humor – They have a thoughtful sense of humor.
  8. Self-Actualized People Are Spontaneous – They tend to be open, unconventional, and spontaneous.
  9. They Fully Enjoy the Journey, Not Just the Destination

Justin7LawsI have been writing and speaking about the truths described in this book for about 20 years.  I passionately embrace its spiritual philosophy and strive to live closer to embodying perfection in it every day.

Here is a photo of the inside cover of my tattered version of the book.  This copy was meant for my nephew who was in jail at the time, and who had repeatedly made bad decisions.  He was in his 20’s at the time.

I remember explaining the principles to him, but I guess I forgot to give him the book.  I found it one day when packing to relocate, either from San Antonio, Texas to New Orleans, Louisiana or from New Orleans to Denver, Colorado.

Just as sincerely as I intended to present this book to him, I now present it to you with the same message, typed below.

But I will only break down my interpretation of this spiritual law after explaining my process for writing poems, songs, stories, or posts.  Armed with an understanding of my creative process, my words may become more vivid to you.

“If you read this book very carefully, word by word, and read it until you understand it, your life can be changed positively, forever.  Try to be open and receptive to the message.  It will begin the transformation process.  You can do this!  Just choose to turn your life around!” – Luv Kevy

You May Not Believe In God – But Know That Satan Is Among Us – Secrets On How He Works – THE DEVIL’S SECRETS RECAP!

When I refer to Satan, I don’t think of a red naked man with horns and a pitchfork. That is a fairy tale that I haven’t believed since maybe the age of 5 years.

I don’t believe that Satan unto himself is of flesh. Satan is simply a spirit, an evil one that wants to separate us from God, and therefore prevent our access to the Kingdom, and to blessings while here on Earth.  He infiltrates the flesh.  He overcomes the minds of the weak and convinces them that they act on their own accord.

Satan doesn’t want us to know how powerful we are through the Holy Spirit. That’s why he’s anxious to block our access to God. He (his spirit) wants us to think that he is more than a mere spirit, a thought, an imagining. He wants us to believe that he has power over us.

But, he doesn’t, provided we don’t surrender to him.

Though Satan is powerless, he is still highly successful in inflicting evil. That is because he must transform into human form so that he becomes more relatable and likable to us. Satan is so successful because he cunningly gets a hold of those closest to us. He also cleverly uses various lures to entice us into his web.

Because we are unknowingly hypnotized like a zombie, he easily appears in the people around us, and manipulates us, if we fall for it. Under his baffling spell, we are decoyed, and oblivious, because we are only alerted by the image of Satan with a pitchfork, that’s been burned in our minds.

But, that clever dude, in disguise, congenially sits at our dinner table, in our homes, at our jobs, in our communities in the form of friends, family, bosses, clergy, politicians, neighbors, and even loved ones. His spirit appears in a form that is anything but the deceptive ‘red devil’ we’ve come to look out for.

When I hear people say that Satan is real, or that Satan is walking the face of the Earth, I interpret that to mean that he has infiltrated the minds of people surrounding and interacting with us.  I don’t know if it’s just me, but he seems to have shown tremendous success in recent years.

So when I state with conviction that ‘Satan walks the face of the Earth’, now you know what I mean.

When I refer to Satan, I don’t think of a red naked man with horns and a pitchfork. I think of the people around me, and observe them and their deeds very carefully.

That Thing U Do Is Like No Other – Karma Must Have Led U To UR Dharma

The Spiritual Law of Dharma

dharma I am finding greater happiness each day now that I am pursuing my passion for writing.

I know that writing, creative communications, as well as, seeking and propagating what I see as truth are my passions.  I know because I can’t stop thinking about them.  Ideas pop into my head throughout the day, and in the middle of the night.  I spend hours each day at the computer posting and researching, often not getting much sleep, and letting eating totally skip my mind.

One of the biggest indicators that I am pursuing my purpose, is when I lose all senses of space and time.  This happens when I’m are deep into an effort, and look at my watch and surprisingly notice that 6 hours have passed, when it seemed like only an hour.

Another indicator is not being able to pull away from a project of passion.  Like everyone, I have hundreds of items to get to on my task list.  But I always gravitate to that same ole task, diligently working it, ignoring the others.  No matter how far behind I may get on other ‘to do’s’, I repeatedly go back to the one task that gives me the most joy.

These repeated escapes from reality into manifesting my vision is an indicator that I may have discovered or am discovering my Dharma.

Dharma is our purpose in life, with the belief that we were all created with a unique talent or ability to offer to the world.

But it’s not a passion that is pursued blindly.  It is pursuit while adhering to other spiritual laws, and doing so with a sincere intention to help others, with this special talent or ability.

The reason that finding your purpose in life is so important, is that finding your purpose is synonymous with finding happiness.  We’re all meant to be happy, and finding our Dharma is the only path to lasting happiness.

So, follow your Dharma no matter what it is, no matter how much you may get discouraged.

Remember, living your Dharma is the only way to optimal and permanent happiness.

The Spiritual Law Of Detachment – Is Not Detachment From Life – You’re Just Detached from Outcomes

“In detachment lies the wisdom of uncertainty . . . in the wisdom of uncertainty lies the freedom from our past, from the known, which is the prison of past conditioning.

And in our willingness to step into the unknown, the field of all possibilities, we surrender ourselves to the creative mind that orchestrates the dance of the universe.” – Deepak Chopra

7 Laws of Spiritual Success

Please keep in mind, as you read my posts, that I only share those things that I sincerely believe in, and/or practice. Some posts on life virtues, spirituality, and health are topics on which I believe and plan to practice or am getting better at practicing.

In every case, what I post, relates to my life as Kevy Michaels. I have practiced the Law of Detachment for over 20 years and passionately believe in it.

Deepak Chopra’s book, The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, resonated with me so well that I took heed to each of the laws as I started implementing them in my life over 20 years ago. I was so astonished by these simple laws of living, that I shared the “good news” with everyone who I felt would be receptive to it.

I’ve given a copy of the book in Costa Rica, South Africa, Europe, and many other countries, including here in the states. I’ve given the book to friends, family, and complete strangers.

Needless to say, I am all but evangelically about the messages contained in this short 100-page or so book.

I share it with you now because I care, and I am of a loving and generous nature. I will share these principles until the day that I leave this earth, with the hope that some or all of the laws will resonate with you, and perhaps lead you towards your spiritual transformation.

Please note that The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success is not the kind of book you read once, and ‘get it’. It will take reading it multiple times, over many years to come. I have read it umpteen times. I just read the chapter on Detachment twice, in preparation for this post.

The Law of Detachment is very powerful! It simply states that with good intentions and desires, we should pursue our dreams, but must be detached from the outcome.

This law requires the ultimate in trust. ….Trusting God to deliver the rest.

I know that this law works, as I have experienced many examples in my life.

Karma Is Not An Eye-For-An-Eye Girl, She’s Considerate, and Much Deeper Than That

The Spiritual Law of Karma

I believe in Karma.

“I see the law of Karma the way I look at banking.  I make as many deposits as possible, and few withdrawals from the Karmic Bank.  Eventually, my balance increases, and I’m paid with dividends and interest.” – Kevy Michaels

I choose to believe in it because this belief steers my life’s journey in a divine direction.

It reminds me that there is an effect to every cause, consequences to every action.

Without this God-driven gauge, in some variation, I would always do whatever my egos tell me to, without regard.  Navigating towards divine wisdom is not a good job for my ego.

I explained how I found a better job for my ego, in the post Unemployment’s Low! – Even My Ego Has A Job Now!

The law of Karma is a better navigator for my life because Karma is driven by my soul, which naturally gravitates toward divine spirit.  The links and videos will explain this statement below.

For now, try to embrace the concept of Karma is being a divinely guided mechanism that corrects our lives.

Many people believe in Karma, but most don’t fully understand the concept, like me, until I did an analysis of this spiritual law, using various sources for guidance.

I will attempt to present nuanced differences in how most people generally regard Karma, and what I found, and believe to be true today, after having done my analysis on the topic.  I’ve provided a good bit of links for you to dig deeper. Just 5 Steps Will Guide You to Your Intentions & Desires

Identify What You Want, Why, then Release It

The Law of Intention and Desire is one of Deepak Chopra’s Seven Spiritual Laws that resonated with me, more than I had realized, until I read and researched it, in preparation for this post.

For those of you who have read the book, you may realize that I have not been following the order in which the seven laws are presented. This is intentional.

Though I agree with the order of the laws as presented, especially with the first one being The Law of Pure Potentiality¸ I post in accordance with where my reflections, prayer, and meditations lead me, on that day. This may cause a bit of confusion, when one law builds on another, on which I have not covered. I intentionally try to buffer this from happening, by breaking the laws down into, hopefully, easy to understand elements. When appropriate, I also relate to applying or not applying the law to my real-life experiences.

Most people who have read the Seven Spiritual Laws likely read it the first time in order, and many subsequent times, out of order based on what moved them. I read this book for the first time over 20 years ago and have read it, and passed it out, around the world, many times.

Though I will cover all of the laws, in my chosen order, here is the order in which they are presented in Deepak’s book:

  1. Pure Potentiality
  2. Giving
  3. Karma or Cause and Effect
  4. Least Effort
  5. Intention & Desire
  6. Detachment
  7. Dharma or Purpose in Life

This post focuses on the Law of Intention and Desire.

The Law of Least Effort Is Da Bomb! – Can I Really Do Nothing & Receive Everything?

One of Kevy’s Favorite Spiritual Laws – From The 7 Laws of Spiritual Success – The Law of Least Effort

The Law of Least Effort is one of Deepak Chopra’s Seven Spiritual Laws that resonates with me as much as The Law of Giving and Receiving.

It doesn’t resonate with me because I live it exquisitely. I am still trying to perfect practicing it. Some parts are very challenging, given my circumstance. What excites me about this spiritual law is that, after reading Deepak Chopra’s 7 Spiritual Laws of Success multiple times, I finally understand it. I ‘git it’ now!

This law states that you will attain those things that you desire when you put the least effort into attaining them. This sounds nonsensical, I know. But, the law makes a lot of sense when you dig deeper.

It does not mean that you can be lazy and sit on your seat cushions, and that blessing will knock on the door and say, “It is I. I am here to bless you”. You certainly need to work hard to overcome your challenges and to reach your goals, but what is more powerful than work alone, is harnessing the powers of God and the universe.

In harnessing this energy, we will expel less foolishly. When striving to reach a goal, simply put, get closer to God, and further away from directly challenging the obstacle before you.

This law requires: Acceptance, Taking Responsibility, and Defenselessness.
