I believe that God inspired my thought to post about Love today. I am not being as self-important as this may sound.
Most people do believe that God created the universe. We may differ on exactly who God is, or if the name is really God, but most of us agree that man did not create the universe. That is outstanding that most of us can surrender our egos to a higher power.
Most believe that some entity, character, energy, spirit, or vibration created the universe, and therefore created us.
So, if “God” created us, and if we believe in “God”, then we must believe that “God” guides us, inspires us, sends us messages and visions.
God sent me a vision to create this post. It occurred, as it usually does when I was jogging the other day. I listened to Stevie Wonder’s album Songs In The Key Of Life. I was mesmerized by the song Love’s In Need of Love Today. I was in awe over all of the songs on this album, but especially this song.

The lyrics and artistry deliver a compelling-needed message, in a most bone-chilling way. I am sure that God gives Stevie Wonder such visions too. Stevie said himself, on one of the video performances below the “Love is starving for itself”. I liked it so much, I used in the title.
Love is starving for attention. Fear, panic, and uncertainty is causing hate to go ‘round, breaking many hearts. And, we must stop this, before it’s gone too far!
I have a rather tall order to deliver for today’s circumstances.
On the one hand, we are becoming very divisive and polarized because of politics, religion, health, orientation, and race.
On the other hand, many of us are feeling compelled to spread ‘good news’ and encouragement because of politics, religion, health, orientation, and race. I am in the latter group of human creatures.

I must deliver a much needed, and compelling message of Love in a way that it at least resonates with a few of the people in the over 170 countries that my posts reach.
I must do justice to Stevie’s message, and God’s word.

The vision troubled me for a few days but in a good way. I was a bit challenged to further visualize how I would do justice when presenting Stevie Wonder’s Love’s In Need of Love Today masterpiece, and accentuating its message:
Love’s in need of love today, so don’t delay. Send your love to the universe right away.
I searched YouTube, as I often do to find this song. God guided me to look here too. I was ecstatic when I found a plethora of videos based on this song. This confirmed that many others were divinely inspired to propagate this message, as I am. I knew that I was on the right track then!
I was most impressed with a video produced by Randolph M., on Classic Songs, a YouTube channel with wonderfully prepared lyric videos. This one really touched me.
Stevie’s lyrics and music, juxtaposed with Randolph’s visual presentation brought me to tears. I knew then that I had to feature this song and video in a blog post. I sent such a comment to Randolph. I then knew exactly how I’d present it, infusing Stevie’s, Randolph’s, God’s, and my visions and spirit.

Why I Chose This Song – Love’s In Need Of Love Today
I candidly share with you that for many years I wanted to be loved, but never felt that I was receiving the love that my heart desired.
I didn’t feel the love from my family, friends, and even people that I’d meet throughout my day. Desiring and feeling unloved, broke my spirit and my mind, and therefore my body. I made many mistakes during this period and experienced the necessary trials and health issues as a form of education.
The trials that the pains of feeling unloved brought were necessary because it was in these trials that my spirit was being transformed. In the pain, my life was turned around. “I was looking from The Upside Down” (a poem I wrote in, I believe, 2001).
Through communion with God (and my dear mother), the only ones I felt who truly loved me, I learned to believe that I was worthy of love. I had to see myself as a beautiful spirit. I learned to love myself.
I found through those trials that not truly feeling worthy of love and not loving myself blocked me from being loved. It showed me that love comes in many forms and places, where I had not looked.
The trials showed me the reciprocal nature of love, loving myself and others, who will, in turn, love themselves and others.
My feeling unloved and longing for love evolved into me finding love in God’s love beautiful creations, the ones that I never took time to explore. When I appreciate the beauty in others, who are different from me, I now receive reciprocal love from them. Most importantly, transformation delivers love to me every day in the form of gratitude for God’s blessings.
Stevie Wonder released Love’s In Need Of Love Today in 1976. I was 16 years old then. I loved this song but did not know of my upcoming trials, victories, pains, and transformation, back then. Now that I understand Life’s Seasons much better, and the crucial times that we are in today, the songs bring me to bittersweet tears of joy and pain.
But for the sake of the fewer followers with whom this message may resonate, you cannot genuinely serve love to the universe, until you are transformed to feel worthy of love and until you truly love yourself.
Then, you will be optimally poised to send your love to help heal our world, as I wish to do as an aspect of my legacy. Kevy

I can’t imagine anyone not agreeing that Stevie Wonder is a gift from God to the world. Even if you don’t particularly like his Soul/R&B genre of music, his message reigns clearly that he is all about love.
I promise to explain within this post why I believe, “I Can See Like Stevie Wonder Y’all.” Actually, I will go further and state that I am nothing special. I believe that we all have the capability to see like Stevie Wonder. I will tell you why, and back it with science.
