How I Feel About Jared Kushner’s Statement On “The Black People” Not Desiring Success – Ya Know The Ole, You Can Lead A Horse To Water, But U Can’t Make That MOFO Drink

November 4, 2020, Post Election Night Comments

Last night’s US election results clearly show that the United States of America is Racist, embraces corruption, and has limited regard for humanity or our God-given paradise.  – Kevy

We now have the perfect ingredients laid out on the table for the preparation of a savory pot of Revolution Gumbo.

This post focuses on Jared Kushner’s comments about Black people, but it does much more.

It points out where I believe that Blacks can up their game, Big Time!  Perhaps the realization of the election will catapult their understanding, solidarity, and swift action.

…Perhaps Liberal White Boomers too, who desire harmonious Race Relations, but not Racial Equality or Racial Equity if it adversely affects their privilege and 401Ks.

It also neatly ties together opinions that I have shared in prior posts that seem to be coming into fruition.  Kevy

I have the windows open here in Colorado and it’s in the 70s.  It’s an incredibly beautiful day.  We get a lot of sunshine here.

I wanted to send this post because I know a lot of people have anxiety about the election even if they are not in America because it’s going to affect them in some way.  I don’t really have a lot of anxiety, but I do know that our future is going to be more different than our past.  …Much different.  I don’t know how but I do feel in my spirit that there is a calling.  And it’s not a calling for a prophet or messiah.  It’s a calling of several of them.  …To prepare, adapt, as well as continue to move this shift in the right direction.

On preparing this post, I wish to inform you that last night I stayed up for about 19 hours, from beginning to end creating the video below.   I think I took maybe took a 3-hour break at the most.  I worked on it for 16 hours.  It’s about Jared Kushner, Donald Trump’s son-in-law, making a comment about how much Trump has looked out for “the Black people” and how “the Black people” don’t want to succeed.  I’m paraphrasing.   That along with the energy in the air over the election, I had to respond.

I’ve learned that there’s a bit of truth in every lie.  For instance, the part about Blacks not wanting to succeed; as a Black man, I can feel that to a certain degree.  I wouldn’t use the word to succeed.  But I agree that it’s simply hard for us to come together.  It is a challenge for we lack values critical to spiritual success along, though we may achieve material success.  I am also nuanced about what “success” means.  Success may not have to include material success for some.

At any rate, I was so moved by this along with the energy of the election that I made created this video.  I decided to post it on my blog.  This post is going to be a little different.  What I’m going to do is put the video out without completing the entire post.  And probably for the next few hours, I’ll be filling in different sections until I complete the full post.

So please enjoy this post.  Perfect for reviewing while on edge for the election results tonight, wherever you be at this moment, on this beautiful planet!  Kevy

Response To Jared Kushner’s Comments On Blacks – He’s Not All Wrong

This video is in response to Jared Kushner’s comments on “The Lobster” caring about Black People, and that Black People don’t desire success.

He is dead wrong on the first point, and wrong in intent on the latter point.

I do, however, believe that Black People need to support each other better than we have over the years.

A Trump presidency may be just the slap upside the head that we need to unify and help ourselves.  We Black People as a collective contribute to our oppression and don’t generally know how to love one another.  This does not apply to all Blacks but certainly applies to many that I have encountered.

I am becoming more colorblind simply because my Black people have done me wrong, many times.  I deal in truth.  This once was a hidden truth.

I hope that White America (and disillusioned Blacks & Other Minorities) now realize what most Black Americans have known for 100s of years…
THIS COUNTRY IS RACIST! NOT EVERYONE, BUT IN THE COLLECTIVE
THIS COUNTRY IS RACIST!

THERE ARE MANY CLOSET RACISTS WHO ARE OUR NEIGHBORS, COWORKERS, AND FRIENDS WHO SMILE IN OUR FACES.  THEY KNOW WHO THEY ARE.

They support Trump’s Racism & Hate, could care less about the environment, or human rights.

THIS RACE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN THIS CLOSE IF THE US HAD A MORAL CONSCIOUS.  BUT IT DOESN’T!
THIS WILL ONLY BE THE BEGINNING OF THE END OF NORMALCY AS WE IMAGINED IT WAS

WE’D BE FOOLISH TO CONTINUE TO BE DISILLUSIONED OTHERWISE.

Gil Scott-Heron – Revolution Will Not Be Televised (Official Version) – Oct 7, 2013 – Ace Records Ltd

The grace of this situation is that it has the potential of making Black & Minority communities stronger and united since WE  SHOULD BE now convinced that WE are on OUR own.  In spite of this slap in the face, many may still require a hammer to the head to be convinced.

THINGS STILL WILL GET UGLY FIRST BEFORE THEY GET BETTER.
Even if Biden is declared the  winner it is clear that America is Racist & Morally Bankrupt
IF BIDEN “SERVES ALL AMERICANS” AS HE SAYS, HE MUST SERVE RACIST AMERICANS TOO.  BLACK INEQUALITY & INEQUITITY WILL STILL BE IGNORED.
AND MANY OF US ARE PISSED RIGHT ABOUT NOW AND HAVE HAD ENOUGH OF AMERICA’S BULLSHIT!
WHAT A MESS!
THIS IS AMERICA Y”ALL

That Ole Bag of Tricks

Read Full Post – Satan’s Bag of Tricks

After having each of these tactics used against me, I am alerted to the following signs of Satan at work:

  • Fear – Provoking fear so that you make irrational and foolish choices that end up undermining you.
  • Guilt – Making you feel guilty about something though you have no reason to feel guilty. For instance, Satan will attempt to make you feel guilty about things you’ve done in your past, from which you have grown years ago.
  • Anger – Satan provokes you to lash out at him in his many forms, just to make you appear as who you are not, and to ‘flip the script’ making you the antagonist.
  • Character – Satan will fabricate and even invent a negative characterization of you so that the spotlight is no longer on his character, which is the flawed one.
  • Instability – Though standing on a strong foundation of God’s understanding, Satan will attempt to make you feel that you are not mentally or emotionally stable and that your ship is about to sink, while all the while God has your back.
  • Cohorts – Satan recruits well. He likes to have compadres behind him. In my case, he recruited an army of soldiers, in New Orleans.
  • Staging – Satan will set you up, lurking you through emotional triggers, then goes in for the kill. I know this one well. I’ve been set up too many times.
  • Lying/Gossip – Satan is a liar! He cleverly takes a sliver of truth and dresses those slivers with blatant lies.
  • Stress – Satan will work you relentlessly to stress you and cause you to become physically, mentally, and spiritually worn and ill.
  • Religion – Religion, the Bible, and scripture are some of Satan’s biggest lures. Oh yea, Satan is in the church!
  • Empathy – Satan makes you feel as though he understands and cares for you. This causes us to let down our guards, then he goes for the kill.
  • Justification of Bad and Destructive Behavior – Satan will justify its deceptive behavior, making you feel that what they did is alright, therefore implying that you can do as they do with no moral compass.
  • Generosity – Evil people will be generous and will reward us to trick us into thinking they are kind, loving, and of God.

Brothers & Sisters, It’s Our Fault Too

Read Full Post – Blacks Contribute to Racism Too

It seems that many African Americans are resting on young people, who are not of the black race, for their passion, compassion, and the risks that they take on their behalf.

You’re watching events on TV and talking about the incidents, just talking. You’re telling each other about it.  You’re tweeting about it. You’re posting about it. But you’re not doing shit about it.  You are not doing anything substantial to impact racial discrimination or police killings.  Some do not vote.

You’re being lazy. You’re perpetuating racism yourself. You’re just resting on the laurels of being a victim and rely on others to come to your aid without actually doing much of anything yourself.  The young people are doing that for you.  Read More

Revolution 2020 – Ingredients For A Savory Pot of Rebellion Gumbo – 10 Key Ingredients For Today’s Boiling Pot Revolution

One – Police Killing Blacks – More than 1,000 unarmed people died as a result of police harm between 2013 and 2019, according to data from Mapping Police Violence. – Deaths From Police Harm Disproportionately Affect People of Color – U.S. News

Two – Coronavirus Impact On Blacks – Nationally, African-American deaths from COVID-19 are significantly greater than would be expected based on their share of the population. In over four states, the rate is three or more times greater. – The Coronavirus Crisis – What Do Coronavirus Racial Disparities Look Like State By State? – NPR – The racial wound at the center of the coronavirus pandemic in the US continues to fester, with the latest data showing that African Americans have died from the disease at almost three times the rate of white people. – The Guardian

Three – Coronavirus Idleness – There are over 30 million Americans who are unemployed. Over half are watching hours of TV each day. Many people have free time like they have never had in their life. I believe that this free time makes participating in protests easier and desirable. Let me explain why this ingredient is so important.

Four – Coronavirus Economic Impact – In my opinion, the Coronavirus, isolation, and 20 million unemployed Americans has elusively shown us how powerful we truly are. Some of us learned this by accident, though.

Five – The Condition of Black Social & Economic Well-Being – Leading indicators of social and economic well-being show that, on average, Black Americans face much more difficult circumstances than their White counterparts in the living standard indicators listed below. Source – The Economic State of Black America – US Congress Joint Economic Committee

Lead a Horse to Water & Make Him Drink – Sep 23, 2018 – Eyeofahorse.com

Horse owners often worry that their horse is not drinking enough water, especially when traveling, at shows, or in hot weather.  This is a valid concern since dehydration can cause very serious problems in horses.  Water regulates body temperature, in addition to facilitating digestion and absorption of nutrients.  Consequently, dehydration can result in problems such as impaction, colic, and heatstroke.

Horse owners often resort to adding salt to the horse’s feed or adding all types of flavoring or commercial products to his water in the hopes that these practices will lead to an increase in drinking behavior.

As a psychologist and an animal behaviorist, I believe there is a more natural solution to this problem.  It is actually possible to train your horse to drink on command by using the simple principles of operant conditioning, as demonstrated in this short video.

Two training sessions (9 minutes and 7 minutes in real-time) are shown in full, with no cuts, but instead, parts of the video are shown at a faster speed in order to condense the viewing time.

As can be seen at the beginning of the video, the horse had been on water prior to the session, and thus had not been deprived of free access to the water tank.

The final few minutes of the video are played at normal speed so that the viewer can more easily see that the horse is indeed drinking on command.

  1. Enjoyed your video. Thank you. Do you ever listen to Gil Scott Heron? A little dated now but he says what you’re saying and might make an appearance on your posts. Try https://youtu.be/QnJFhuOWgXg, The Revolution Will Not Be Televised, if you’re not familiar. Thanks for all the effort you put into your post. It was worth reading.
