White people, all people, prepare yourself for making significant changes in your approach to racism, Liberal White people especially. The world is fed-up! We’ve had enough!
White Silence won’t work in the state we’re in today. We’re in the midst of a revolution. Blacks recognize that you are benefiting from an unpaid humanitarian debt every day that you enjoy your privilege.
Instead of approaching Racism, Inequality, and Inequity as though it’s awful, and that you must help these poor Blacks, approach your dilemma as though you have a spiritual debt that must be paid. You do.
Approach Black racism as though it impacts you, or a family member. It does. We are all brothers and sisters, under the God in which we supposedly believe.
Many Black are screwed up on racism too. I will post separately on this side of the equation.
But Blacks clearly contribute to their own demise, by not using their most powerful weapons, money, and action. Black leaders often give the appearance of action, but just talk about the problem. This is money to be made in just talk. It keeps the Racism Industry vibrant and self-sustaining. Taking tangible ction could eliminate it.
Others superficially wait on the Lord to do the work, though He gave us minds, free will, and discernment. Why put on The Lord what you can do yourselves? Still, others pretend to do the work but are simply sustaining their existence to keep grant and foundation funds coming into their coffers.
I know what I’m talking about. I’ve experienced each of these types, and I’ve had enough! I will write vigorously about it, but I will not write alone. I help people…many people, giving them tangibles from which they can benefit. …measurable and tangible benefits, not just talk and showcasing.
These two groups are more damaging to Black Inequity & Inequality than outright racists. The latter are resolute and clear. They take action. The former is deceptive and keeps Blacks, in the aggregate bound and tied.
For this reason, I have decided to vote for Trump, or not vote at all. I will also explain my reasoning in a separate post. Kevy
It’s time for you to “get off the pot or shit”, a New Orleans saying. “Shit or get off the pot” – Make a decision. This phrase is most commonly used towards a person or group whom the speaker feels are behaving indecisively. Often occurs in tense situations where the speaker believes a quick decision is necessary or urgent. Sometimes delivered as life advice.” – Urban Dictionary – Deome June 24, 2015
White Liberal Boomers are at a fork in the road and must choose a side. They can no longer ride the middle line as they have for years.
A tsunami of change is already here, and they will be most negatively impacted and left behind if they continue to surf the wave of indifferent, with little action. They can no longer remain neutral, indifferent, or impassionate on racism. They will be held accountable in the aftermath.
If they do not change their ways, they may lose friends, as I lost my friend Annie, their peace of mind, morality will trouble them, and they will be criticized for their inaction, “when shit hits the fan”. Well…Shit has hit the fan!
I just lost my White Liberal Boomer friend Annie last week. Change is happening within our circles and in those around us.
“When your conscience begins to bother you about your past actions, that’s your Soul wanting you to wake up.” – Andrea de Michaelis – Creating my own reality, one thought at a time
Another way of this statement is, White Liberals walk your talk. Stand up for the principals to which you have professed for years!
There are many reasons why I feel this way, but let’s first look at population numbers to gain a greater perspective.
I direct the statements above specifically to White Liberal Boomers (Born between 1944 and 1964 (approximately, don’t try to escape), currently between 56-76 years old – 76 million in the U.S. (or so) – Kasasa) because Generations X, Y, and Z are already on board and navigating this Revolution 2020. The Millennials are the ones igniting it. I admire their courage and determination. They won’t be stopped because it’s their future that they are fighting for in addition to fighting against racism.
I was told yesterday at a rally, by a young gay HIV-infected protester, “I know that it’s risky to protest with corona and all, but standing up against police violence and discrimination against Blacks is too important to ignore.”
At rallies this week, as I filmed tens of thousands of protestors, I had an epiphany that these young ‘rebel rouser’ are our future leaders. They dominate the population and demand change. …Look…

White Silence = Black Racial Violence – Jun 10, 2020 – Kevy Michaels
Generation X, Y, and Z’ers have at least another 40 – 50 years of fight ahead of them. They will not be stopped by any other segment of the population based on their sheer size and vitality.
They can choose the way that they want to respond and there isn’t much that any segment of the population can do about it. I say, more power to them and I support them. I will march and protest my old ass with them.
Most Boomers will be dead in 20 years and have little fight left in them, and that’s if they’re inclined to fight for justice.
But Gen X+’ers are much fiercer than Boomers. They are taking their future by the balls and grabbing it!
We must join them in shaping their future. We Boomers messed things up. The young generation does not want racism to stigmatize their future as it has our past.
They want justice, and they want it now.
White Silence can be deafening for racial equality – Jun 1, 2020 – CBS 8 San Diego
White Silence” is a term used to describe Caucasians that are enraged by police brutality against black residents.
Many White Liberal Boomers sit back passively like dead weight in the midst of this Revolution. This is called “White Silence”.
Black mother explains why White Silence is so painful – Jun 3, 2020 – CBS News
The inaction won’t be easily tolerated or deceptively disguised anymore. This is a different kind of party. We must all be actionable on eradicating racism. It just may be close to possible to achieve.
Those who sit and watch, those without empathy, those who try to seem unifying but are not impassioned, and those who normalize their right-wing friends and family will not be viewed very kindly as Revolution 2020 unfolds.
Young, significantly White, people are driving this force, though we’ve all had enough. Young White people are standing up for Blacks because they do not want this stain on their lives.
White Liberals have been very kind to Blacks, very good-intentioned, but they have not been effective. They live in very White circles and enjoy the pleasures of privilege, while never acknowledging that it is at the expense of minorities, mainly Blacks.
They never really want to acknowledge the stain of bigotry and institutionalized racism the way young Whites so today. In recent years, White Liberals Boomers have not stood boldly in defiance of racism. In contrast, young people are proving that change is accessible by passionately grabbing it, not waiting for it.
White Liberal Boomers, White Silence has failed us on racism. They had greater access to affect change but chose to just be nice, pray, vision quest, live with the status quo, and send love and light. That was not enough. It did not make racism magically go away, but did keep them happy.
They treated the races kindly but it did not work for humanity.
“14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.” – James 2:14-26 New King James Version (NKJV)
…Sorry for the diversion, but I had to get that off of my chest. I am obviously heated during this worldwide racial revolution, but I am also heated because of an incident that happened a couple of days ago with my White Liberal friend, Annie. I will explain that later.
Let’s look at population numbers to better understand my points.
- There are about 230 million X, Y, and Z’ers in the US!
- The US population in 2020 is 331 million.
- X, Y, and Z’ers in the US are 70% of the population!
- The US median age is 38 – Worldometer
As of 2020, the breakdown by age looks like this (Kasasa):
Gen X: Gen X was born between 1965 – 1979 and are currently between 41-55 years old – 82 million
Gen Y: Gen Y, or Millennials, were born between 1980 and 1994. They are currently between 26-40 years old – 73 million – Gen Y.1 = 25-29 years old – 31 million – Gen Y.2 = 29-39 – 42 million
Gen Z: Gen Z is the newest generation to be named and was born between 1995 and 2015. They are currently between 5-25 years old – 74 million
The world will never be able to contain the force of 230 million young people fighting for human rights in a way never fought before, in a way that White Boomer Liberals have refused to, or simply failed to. The police can’t even contain a force this powerful. They are paid by 230 + 30 million (estimated) of 360 million supporters of police reform or defunding. That’s over 72% of the population want change and they want it now!
Besides, these young folks are viral, on caffeine drinks, and a lot of sugar.
Liberals, you can no longer passively disagree with racism, while rubbing elbows with people and institutions that perpetuate it. Your conservative associates are resolute and will likely remain that way on race issues. Money seems to be their priority, not human lives. They will just have to die off to further rid the world of their racism.
But there may be hope in some Liberals adhering to the power of the Revolution 2020. They can make a firm choice now, for a change, to show more energetic support for the revolution that we are already in the midst of.
White Liberal Boomers can no longer relax in their privilege, express empathy for the Black plight, but do nothing more than make nice with a few Black people. They can no longer be chummy with White conservative friends, who directly perpetuate Black inequities while befriending Blacks and not expect conflict in those relationships, or termination thereof. They can no longer be able to sit on the sidelines of this revolution and expect to not be regarded as contributory to the problem.
They don’t only contribute to the problem due to their inaction and indifference, but also because they enjoy the very White privileges that keep racism alive today, without regard to the price paid by others. There is a correlation between White Silence and White privilege?
I am not being hateful. I don’t believe that most Liberal Whites truly understand racism. The biggest misconception is that racism is only about how you treat others. It is not. Racism today is institutional bondage. Being nice does not put a dent in it. But, bold action to not support racist institutions, racist acquaintances, racist family members, and basking too much in privilege, can effect change.
White Liberals, it is time to do more or join the other side.
You too are perpetuating institutionalized racism by staying on the middle line. People are beginning to see and feel that you are a significant aspect of the race problem. I can see it and feel it especially today, in the midst of the Coronavirus, Police Killings and Abuse, Unemployment, and Riots & Rallies.
I do not see many older White Liberals, with the demographics like my White friends’, participating in the uprising, but they are still so kind to me, and to “the universe”. Perhaps they are not as outraged. Amongst my circle of White friends, I don’t see them breaking ties with their friends who support institutionalized racism and “The Lobster” either. That is unacceptable.
They must change, or be left behind with the excrement of racism inside of them wanting to be released.
White Liberals, from my experiences in the workplace, in religion, social services, race seminars, and in friendships, do not seem to realize that even when they solely say that they “don’t see color” or that they “don’t have a racist bone in my body” that they are exerting White privilege.
Racial microaggressions are exerted in such statements because as a Black man I can’t live without seeing color. I am reminded every day. As a Black man, I cannot be racist.
Racism has to do with institutions and power. I have no connection to institutions or people with power. Generally speaking, Blacks have limited power to eradicate racism relative to Whites.
Don’t get me wrong. There are clearly Black Liberal Boomers who are at fault as well. I do not focus on them in this post because it’s the White Liberals who have power and access. They can make more impactful changes, if only they were not silent.
It’s time for you to “get off the pot or shit”. Kevy
My White Liberal Friend Annie
My White Liberal Friend, Annie, is a very beautiful spirit. I met her over 20 years ago. She has been extremely kind to me and has helped me in very tough situations, namely when I cared for my elderly mother and needed to relocate with her from Texas to Louisiana.
Annie is somewhat of a modern-day flower child, with frizzy and free hair, loosely-fitting earthy-colored flowing skirts and dresses, and sometimes adorned she’s with flowers, crystals, and oils too. She is a beautiful person and spirit.
She is a Course In Miracles, Law of Attraction, and Unity Church student. She releases love and light out to the world through her daily practice and encounters. She is a firm believer in the power of visioning, so she visions that the world ill be a better place. Annie is a beautiful person, with good intentions for all, including Blacks.
So, what’s the problem?
For over 5 years, I have been suggesting to Annie and other White Liberal Boomer friends that we are headed for civil unrest and possibly civil war over race relations. I base this prediction on the feedback, postings, and dialogue that I see from media and social media, also from the experience of being a Black man. I feel vindicated today by virtue of the unrest that is currently going on surrounding George Floyd’s death, as well as other, at the hands of policemen.
None of them wanted to believe me. I believe that they were sincere too. They seemed to view the world and relations through rose-colored glasses, and rightfully so. They never lived as a Black person. They, relative to my prediction, seemed to have not made any concrete changes to address the inhumanity of racism, nor in their acquaintances or privileges. Annie actually bragged to me about her Trump-supporting friends, their material possessions, and favors that they do for her.
She admitted that she that they loved Trump, but insisted that they or she ‘didn’t have a racist bone in their bodies”. But she never took action for the cause. I do not believe that she has many Black friends beyond me. She told me to avoid arguments that she tells her Republican friends that she is Independent, avoiding the humanitarian responsibility to discussing race or ending these friendships. I tried to explain to Annie that she normalizes racist through her White Silence. …Nothing changed, though.
After having a discussion about this a couple of weeks ago, I stopped hearing from Annie. She used to call daily. I was suspicious because this has happened with several other Liberal Whites that I know. They would communicate on any topic, but not on racism. They were not sensitive to how I must feel as a Black man. They often, as Annie did, would get mad, and disconnect. This was very prevalent when I attended Race Talk University, at Shorter AME Church.
“Liberal Whites simply want to have nice relations without touching the 3rd rail of racism. They are inconsiderate of how Blacks feel about the significant unreconciled oppression, as they to go on with the status quo as if we are all living equally.” Kevy
I tried repeatedly to reach Annie after that discussion. Then one day, I decided to call her, after attending several all-day protest rallies and preparing posts and video content that required me to review the George Floyd and other police killings post and videos. When I called I was full of emotions.
I was crying subtly. I told Annie, “This makes me feel like I hate White People” I knew that this feeling was not proper, but I did feel that way, though I am not that way.
Annie took offense and explained to me the other common response about her being “part Black”. She interpreted my comment as aimed at her and heard it as “I hate all White people”, including her, though I told her explicitly that it was not personally directed at her. In fact, in my past posts and videos, I target Liberal White Boomers and applaud White Millennials. The problem is not with “All White People”.
Nonetheless, she ranted and hung up with her final words of “Fuck You”. She is probably forever gone. That is up to her. I will not apologize, though.
Since the incident, I have exhausted trying to reach out to Annie. Black friends say give her time, and that she may come through. I am not sure she will, but I am sure that many White Boomers like her will be left behind if they don’t change. They are not an asset to this movement. They douse internal flames instead of igniting them.
The incident with Annie made me privy to White Liberals’ MO with regard to racial sensitivity. Her case and ones with various cases with other people led me to draw some conclusions.
Some White Liberals are very offended by Black’s expression of pain, anger, and mixed thoughts. But, these emotions are overwhelmingly vindicated and are historically indwelling for hundreds of years. I carry the emotions that current the generation bears from my racial trials, as well as those relatives and ancestors before me who shared their racial experiences.
I don’t believe that Whites see that their abrupt reactions are an exertion of White privilege. They in essence equate their pain and emotions about racism with my several hundred years of hurt, without empathy.
“Whites inherited having to be empathetic to the racial truths and emotions of Blacks that may make them uncomfortable, as symmetrically as to me inheriting racism and having to live in it all my life.” – Kevy
I guarantee you that the latter is more devastating than the former. Blacks’ emotions on racism are not equal to Whites, as well as, the privilege that they obviously have. Whether overt or innocent, they often exert privilege when equalizing their reaction with Blacks’ emotions.
The incident inspired this post, since Annie, and most in her shoes would not discuss racism constructively. This problem must be resolved, and Whites will need to leave their stubbornness behind. Times are too crucial for such nonsense.
Racism could reasonably lead to the destruction of civilization. Remember that.
I decided to create this content also because I believe that racial tensions will only intensify for the next several years. Everyone will be confronted with the reality of vile racism and will be forced to take a stand on one side of the line, but not on the line.
We will all become more Tribal which will cause friends and families to break apart depending on the strength of respective convictions and relationships. This will not go away. This is Revolution 2020. Go on the front lines of the protests as I have if you need proof.
Annie did the following things that I suggest that other White Liberal Boomers do not do if they have Black friends, and truly want to positively impact racism during the revolution. Here they are:
- Don’t normalize your Trump-loving friends and your affinity to them for material and other reasons, while ignoring their contribution to racism, and perpetuation of oppression against Blacks and other minorities.
- Don’t fail to recognize or selfishly interpret Blacks’ expressed pain and mixed emotions in the midst of this Racial Revolution about all of who we are, no less.
- Don’t resort to defensiveness, ugliness, and misinterpretation. Don’t say “Fuck You”, hang up or disconnect to avoid discussions. This has happened to me with other Liberal Whites. They are now behind me.
- Carefully examine your friends, opinions, and life, in general, to identify how you contribute to continued racism. Look closely, you may perpetuate racism in subtle and not-so-obvious ways.
- Allow Black people to have their moment, to express their pain. This is not your moment. Swallowing your pain will be much easier than what Blacks have continually swallowed for hundreds of years. Take a backseat on this one. Don’t try to upstage.
Goodbye Annie. I still love you.
I realize that you just don’t understand and cannot feel my pain or that of Blacks in general. You are a Liberal White Boomer. You probably did not intend to offend. But, you do know from this point forward to be more cautious as this situation may likely surface again. Kevy.

“Is because people are now fed up. We the people are telling me they’re tired of hashtags. They’re tired of the Ann Jones thing. And have a bipartisan solution. They’re tired of people like me. They’re tired of people saying over and over again that, you know, we’re just basically one bill away at one election away from some progress. It’s not the racist white person who’s in the Ku Klux Klan that we have to worry about. It’s the white liberals. Hillary Clinton supporter walking her dog in Central Park. Who would tell you right now she should people like that? Oh, I don’t see race. Racism. No big deal to me. I see us all the same. I get to charities. But the minute she sees a black man who she does not respect or who she has a slight thought against, she weaponized race like she had been trained by the Aryan Nation. A Klan member could not have been better trained to pick up the police and pick up the phone and tell the police it’s a black man, an African-American man. Come get it.”

“Pressing their empathy and their sympathy. My only prayer. Look in the mirror at how you choke off black opportunity, how you choke off black dignity, how you behave in ways that make it harder for African-Americans to rise in your profession, in your place of work on your campus, in your house of worship, and start working on that. Because this is the last domino of a whole series of dominoes that had been falling for a long time. And black people have been getting gas lit every time we point this out. And people tell us, well, maybe it was this and maybe it was that. …Or maybe it was this …Or maybe it was that. …You don’t get to this outcome. You don’t get to the point where police officers can stand around. Don’t tell me about the one who had this knee in the neck. Sometimes you have psychopaths and sociopaths with power. But, you know, when that happens, you call the police. The police when they are watching it and defending it.”

On April 14, 1967, Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke at Memorial Auditorium about racism and civil rights in American society. He touched on many of the issues that resonate today: racism, poverty, and violence versus nonviolent social activism. He noted that the poor “find themselves perishing on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity.” For more than 30 years, Stanford has been at the forefront of scholarship about King’s legacy through the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Educational Institute.
Martin Luther King and the ‘polite’ racism of white Liberals – Many of King’s words about allies ring true today – The Washington Post
“In the last year of his life, King increasingly pointed to the “comfortable vanity” of Americans who saw themselves as friends of racial progress but were unwilling to take the necessary, substantial steps to close the gap.
King called out his allies as well as his enemies. But we are often treated to the version of the civil rights leader who is a cheerleader of improvement, asserting that the “arc of the moral universe bends towards justice.” Read More

Van Jones: A ‘white, Liberal Hillary Clinton supporter’ can pose a greater threat to black Americans than the KKK – BY JOE CONCHA – 05/29/20
CNN’s Van Jones argued Friday during analysis on racial tensions that a “white, Liberal Hillary Clinton supporter walking her dog in Central Park” can pose a more insidious threat to African Americans than openly racist groups such as the Ku Klux Klan. Jones was referring to Amy Cooper, a white woman who called the police on a black man in New York’s Central Park on Monday after he asked that she put her dog on a leash. Film of the exchange and subsequent call to police went viral, with Cooper repeatedly referring to the man’s race while falsely saying she was being threatened. Read More
