I don’t watch the news regularly. That ended years ago. But I do keep current on what’s going on. My primary approach is to read the post headlines on CNN, FOX, MSNBC, and Aljazeera websites. I also pop in and out of AM talk radio shows. Their discussions are frightening.
But, in spite of these things, I am not addicted to the news. Too much of it will influence my mind, spirit, and vibe. I check headlines because I feel that something is going to give. Every day it seems there’s more dismal news. I just want to be prepared.

I’ve had a pretty memorable life, and I’m not finished yet. I don’t say that lightly. I’ve been successful. I’ve had very tough times. I’ve faced near-death situations and serious health challenges a few times. I’ve been on the top and on the bottom. And I’ve endured through it all quite well, in spirituality and in life-awareness.
That is the backdrop to what the poem and video Ashes is all about. …The poem and video that I present in this post.
Obviously, I use the word ashes figuratively. It represents the ruins that I had to dig through to discern that the transformative journey that I traveled was ultimately a blessing.
I authored this poem years ago and decided to turn it into a video just recently. I wanted to convey the message visually. In the video, I am conveying my life journey, as well as the undoubtedly tough journeys of others, whose lives were transformed by difficult circumstances.

Andrea Gibbs is an exemplary example of a caring spirit, devoted to improving the lives and care of seniors. One of her several callings is to post articles and other content on making the task of senior caregiving efficient, effective, and pleasing to the elderly. Her tips are a godsend for those feeling their way through the caregiving process.
I have often said that health is spiritual. And, it truly has been for me.
It is spiritual for many reasons, but most of all, it is spiritual because treating our bodies as a temple is the highest form of gratitude to display before God. It is an easy display of gratitude if you can overcome lust and greed, which is unto itself, a spiritual exercise.
I came to realize that health was spiritual the more that I researched how the body so magnificently and intricately, in its hundreds of processes, interacts and communicates, body, mind, and spirit synchronized. I’ve got a story to tell. I’ve mentioned it over the years in my blog, starting out with the series entitled, Terror on the Caregiver.
It is about how I am left feeling betrayed by my siblings and other family members, as I earnestly served as my mother’s sole caregiver, until her ascension. It is a very painful story to tell, even nearly 10 years after the rivalry began.
I often stop, then start writing. That’s because writing the story hurts me. I recently hinted at this back and forth feeling in the post Maybe Is the Theme, dated February 1, 2022. Each time I make substantial progress, I uncover yet another level of emotions, going through transformative experiences, examining myself, and trying to understand how God works each time.
I have these regular spontaneous moments, moments of deep Gratitude. Gratitude hits me deeply in my spirit and it hits me at random. I can never predict when it will happen. It doesn’t matter where I am. And, it has just hit me now, inspiring me to write this post!
This is a repost because I want to impress on others that we are existing in that field, The Field of Pure Potentiality.
The general idea is that we are in the midst of abundance and possibilities. We don’t have to seek it. We’re in it!
We must instead vibrate higher holistically, in all that we do, even in our intentions. …In our health, certainly in our spirit, lifestyle, and living…
We must elevate in all of these areas to access this field of abundance, where all that we desire is.
This year is expected to move very rapidly, in good and bad ways, in whichever direction we choose to place our energy.
Don’t lose sight of how rapidly 2020 and 2021 swooped by.
I suggest that you focus on accomplishing your dreams this year. But, only after you have reached the Field of Pure Potentiality. That will require living with the past differently, than in the past, and anticipating the mystery of the new world ahead.
Accept that ‘nobody really knows’, and be okay with that. Focus on your vision, mission, and dreams wholeheartedly. Kevy

I stumbled on a couple of poems that I originally wrote years ago. One is entitled,‘Maybe’, the other, ‘Audacious Wisdom’.
In these writings, I am questioning myself, and my purpose through God’s eyes. I wasn’t looking for the poems. I stumbled on them. I literally have close to a thousand or more bodies of work. But recently finding them was right on time for what’s going on in our world and with me, right now.
Recently, I have been again encouraged to author a book, memoir, or screenplay on my story. I really want to, and know that I can, but I haven’t completed several in-progress projects. Though I’ve started many and have created bits and pieces over the years, I’ve never compiled or finalized anything.
I’ve written a great deal, enough for more than just one book, maybe about six! But still, I have not assembled what has been written, never completing the projects. I have started several videos, much the same way. I want to complete them, but often I feel uncertain about doing so. Years ago, I vowed to never venture into anything new without really feeling it in my spirit. I feel these projects in my spirit, but not strong enough yet.
About writing, and about life in general, I have been asking myself, ’Maybe?’ quite often.

We must especially use lessons we learned from the past in the energy-dynamic environment that 2022 promises to be.

I love this time of year because it is a time of reflection, but for me, it triggers a deeper self-reflection, as it has for me for the last, I would say 30 or more years.
I just celebrated my birthday on January 5th, just a few days ago. With my birthday landing right after Christmas and New Year’s, I began soul searching around Christmas time, while everyone else seemed to be shopping and celebrating. As I mentioned, my holiday season celebrations are spent mostly alone and in nature, as was my birthday “celebration.”
I love the beginning and end of each year. As would be expected, at the end of the year, I usually aim to end a behavior, habit, relationship, or end an unhealthy lifestyle practice. At the beginning of the year, I reflect on how I will adapt to the change in era, time, and vibration. …Or changes in me. I try not to superimpose the prior year on the new year, just as I see ‘every day as a clean slate’. It is a given for me that the new year must be different in some way.
In this year, 2022, I have already accepted that “normal” no longer exists and will never return. I feel more certain that in 2022 I will not be trying to convince others who are on a whole different vibe than I am. I will be trying to connect more with others who are already on or near the vibe where I reside.
I have met such high-vibers through the Seasons as My Teacher blog. I love how blogging allows us to connect with other like-minded people, who have the passion to write, and read posts. It takes a certain calmness to take the time to do so juxtaposed with fast-paced social media.

The principles presented in this short book are as dear to me as are the bible’s principles. I have distributed copies of this book to others around the world. I live by all seven of its principles.
I am so happy that I was indoctrinated into holistic health practices over 20 years ago. It has been especially helpful to be in this mindset prior to COVID19. It has made me more open and enthusiastic to learn about the wonders of the human body.
Today, I am open to sharing the functions of the human tongue.
It has led me to conclude that Holistic Health is Spiritual. Practicing holistic health protocols, not only includes practicing spiritual rituals, but it is also the spirit of living in itself.

I’m not one to bite my tongue when it comes to expressing how I feel. But that’s because today I have courage. I didn’t always have courage. In the past, my fears were really centered around being accepted by others, having low self-esteem, and not being confident in myself. I spent a great deal of my life trying to please others. Because of that fear, and not having courage, I made my life quite miserable. I made many mistakes. But, even in those mistakes, I’m so grateful. Because, that’s why I have the courage today, and I can speak up.
Honey is amazing! I just had a tablespoon prior to publishing this post.
I chopped 2 cloves of garlic to mix with my second spoon. But I’m allowing the chopped garlic to be exposed to the air for about 10 – 15 minutes to get the maximum health benefits.
I’m learning more about nature’s gift of honey every day, God’s gift. This is yet another example of how I view Health as Spiritual. Most of the things that are healing for us, physically, mentally, and spiritually, are of God. Honey, Bees, and Garlic are directly from the Divine Spirit.
While doing research for this post, I found how incredible bees are in producing it. I’ll elaborate on that below.
I knew of many of honey’s health benefits. I consume it almost every day, but in different ways, and in different strengths, depending on the need.
I add it to warm water, and lemon juice, first thing in the morning as a daily detox, and to reduce digestive stomach acids.
I put it directly on cuts and abrasions.
I mix honey with freshly chopped garlic as a treatment for colds, flu, or just to boost immunity. This is highly recommended during the pandemic, and especially with the unknowns surrounding Omicron. When I mix it with freshly chopped garlic, I follow this as a regiment for 5 – 7 days.
Sometimes I take honey in a teaspoon with essential oils like clove, lavender, and peppermint.
Otherwise, I use it as a food and sweetener. Most of the time, I just swirl it on fresh fruit for breakfast or I just take it raw.
I love honey. It is a part of my regular health regiment.
One of several reasons why I don’t listen to current popular music, in addition to just being older, and not quite understanding its messages, is that there is such adventure in exploring music that I may have never heard before, whether new or old. There’s just too much music out there to waste time.
Good music is timeless to me. With music streaming services, Pandora, Spotify, YouTube Music & Videos, coupled with AI, I am exploring and enjoying new music all the time. Some of the new music is not so new, but it doesn’t matter.
In a prior post, I mentioned the analogy of our personal lives being like a movie, and that each of us is certainly the star of that movie. Everyone else is extras. By the way, I got that from watching a YT video.
Taking this analogy a bit further, the music that I listen to and discover becomes the theme music and soundtrack to my movie. My life is filled with music every day. I listen to music constantly, all kinds. I especially love international music that moves me. Often, I do not understand the language or dialects, but I can feel the rhythms and emotions.
I have shared music through my blog before, including gospel, reggae, South African, Senegalese, and even Depeche Mode. These are the sounds of my life. I also listen to jazz, especially Coltrane, and Miles. I even recently discovered Shirley Bassey!

Though my way of seeing life and spirit may differ from that of others, I feel it necessary to share mines with you. I share so openly to strengthen my own faith. I proclaim my convictions, sometimes audaciously. I also do so because I believe that most people, especially Black people only hear their arguments. They preach to each other, preaching to the choir, themselves.

Why Is It Important to Spend Some Quality Time with Aging Parents?

As you grow up and marry and start a family of your own, your dream changes into dedicating yourself to work to meet all your needs and achieve the life you dream for them. That’s why you put a lot of effort into your work, doing extra hours and working harder than usual. You become too driven in the work that you set aside your family, friends, and eventually your parents.
You call or text them occasionally because you don’t have time to spend quality time with them and send them gifts because you haven’t seen them in a while. But no matter how many expensive gifts you have given your parents or how many greeting cards you send to their mailbox, what they need is your presence. Sending cards on mother’s day or birthday is good, but it would lighten up their mood and hearts more if you join the celebration with them.
As you see them on some important occasions, you may notice noticeable changes in their health, appearance, and behavior. And start to realize that your parents need your utmost attention now more than ever before. But sometimes, the idea of creating a relationship with your aging parents now that they need attention and care may feel overwhelming because of your busy schedule, and you usually put your parents on the bottom of your list of priorities. You may feel guilty about it, but there is nothing you can do to change the past. What’s important is that you realize your shortcomings and find ways to express your love and gratitude to your parents now.
I am fortunate to have been introduced to the Indian culture over 20 years ago. Indians are very dominant in the IT Systems field. This is where I spent most of my career. They are exceptionally brilliant people. We worked well together on many projects in some of the world’s largest corporations. I still keep in touch with several Indian friends that I’ve worked with within the United States, and abroad.
But what attracts me most to Indian culture is greater than their intelligence. It is their peacefulness and inner light that draws me to them. Their vibration is immensely powerful especially to those like me who have meditated for over 20 years, and who is curious and open to all cultures and faiths.
I have attended Indian weddings, baby rituals, and have been invited to dinner in the homes of Indian families, which was all a great honor. Every event and venue was full of love and joy and was quite colorful. I love colors. I see them as a reflection of God’s light in a myriad of God-created hues. Light is energy; therefore, colors have a power that can influence our spirit. The Indian culture knows this well, as I do.
Today Indians around the world celebrate the festival known as Diwali, the festival of lights. It is a festival that is based on an Indian god who defeated evil. Diwali is a celebration of good over evil. If there were ever an appropriate time to celebrate good over evil, now is that time considering the state of world affairs, politically, economically, and socially. We should all celebrate Diwali today and every day.
I try to eat 1 or 2 bananas each day. To me, bananas are one of God’s miracle foods, like garlic, turmeric, cinnamon, and goji berries.
I learned more about the benefits of eating bananas than I ever imagined a few years ago while working at Whole Foods Market. I really enjoyed this job, especially the residual benefits of becoming well-versed in healthy lifestyles and the health benefits of eating produce.
This only complemented what I learned from meticulously attending to my elderly mother’s health, as well as my own.
Gaining this knowledge was yet another example of how we can help each other by sharing such knowledge. Working at Whole Foods Market, I met many people who were deep into their wellness journey, who were eager to share information with me. It’s really interesting how we seemingly secretly exchange information about natural healing as if it is government classified information. That should not be so.
I had been on a holistic healing journey for many years but working in WFM’s produce department certainly elevated my health knowledge. Because customers were generally astute, I have to do my homework, research so that I knew what I was talking to others about. This included learning the benefits of exotic fruits and vegetables. ‘
Eventually, health and lifestyle became evangelistic for me. I strongly believe that living a healthy lifestyle is an aspect of Spirituality. When I learn of the uncommonly known benefits of fruits and vegetables, without man’s intervention, it confirmed that God wants us to live healthily and naturally.
Just last week, I celebrated my mother’s 103rd birthday! You may find from prior posts about my mother, that she is ‘my favorite girl in the world’. We were always ultra-close from childhood until her ascension.
Perhaps it was because I was her last child and because my father died 8 months after I was born. I don’t know, but our connection was strong, ride-or-die-strong’, and everyone in my immediate family knew it. She made it clearer than I did.
Caring for my mother for several years was a tumultuous experience emotionally, spiritually, physically, and logistically. We moved together across 3 states, dismantling and reassembling what we would call home, until our final destination in Denver, Colorado. She transitioned several months after our arrival, succumbing to cancer.
Yesterday, after working out at the gym, I played African music on my smartphone as I exited the building. A middle-aged White lady who was unknowingly behind me heard the music and said, “That’s nice music, happy music.” I had never characterized African music as happy music, though I agree that it evokes happiness.
I mentioned that the lady was White to contrast that many African Americans, and other races, are not familiar with the beauty of African music, especially West African music.
Many Latinos are unaware that Salsa music originated in Africa. Salsa is a set of Afro-Caribbean rhythms fused with jazz and other styles. The truth is that its origins have always been much debated, although as a general rule it is mentioned that it comes from a fusion that came from Africa in the Caribbean when they heard European music and wanted to mix it with their drums.
I have recently found more White people in tune with African music than my own people, in restaurants, in grocery stores, outdoor events, etc. Just last week I met a White young man who was very familiar with West African music from having worked in Africa, while in the Peace Corps.
At the seeming climax of many of my trials, I tend to experience vivid emotions of worry and fear, just like the next person. I am not immune to any human emotions. I have been an emotional animal at times, that an insensitive person couldn’t tolerate.
But, big but, I pride myself in managing human disappointment, pain, grieving, anger, and resentment.
I credit my abilities to manage the things that humans go through to mediation, prayer also. But I do tend to meditate more than I pray. I practice a form of Prayer-Meditation, whereby I put the intention of my prayers in the air by merely thinking about them. And, in so doing, I am praying much the same as speaking them.
People, I’m kind of pissed right now about this big Corona misinformation scam. Now, don’t get me wrong. Hear me out.
I believe that there are people who definitely need to get the vaccine. I explained this to a friend the other day. There are people whose health is so far gone, or who have years of chronic illness, and are on heavy medication, that it requires that they get this vaccine, simply because their immunity is just not strong, and they are likely to have issues. Their body functions are screwed.
However, what pisses me off is that there are people out there, and I can tell you this very clearly because I’m one of them, who have optimal health, who have spent many years making sure that they do all the things that they need to do to stay healthy, and it has worked for them. What pisses me off is, why do we have to degrade our standard of care and lifestyle by introducing vaccines, that many like me, haven’t had even before Corona was around? Why do I have to do this?
This is my chance to not appear as some sort of maniac who blindly bashes “medical and media science” with no regard for truth.

I do extensive research, analysis, and scrutiny of health information before formulating my conclusions. Furthermore, I follow protocols that I recommend that my followers at least investigate as I have, for some 30 years, no less!
It is important to note that those who blindly do what their doctors tell them to, and who take prescription drugs as well as vaccines without question, do little research, nor follow healthy lifestyles. So, who’s the foolish here?
Fairly methodically following alternative and natural protocols for over 30 years, I have experienced great success. My medical lab reports, including COVID19 testing, are very close to perfect, for a Black man of sixty-one years young. I can confidently say that I have defied several medical odds, without taking vaccines or medicine.
I have ever since high school. He was very popular in New Orleans, and when I went to college in San Francisco, he was very popular there. When I lived in London, he had a cult following. He had a shop there, in Camden Town. I visited his shop and I appreciated him even more because his shop was full of incense, candles, and was very metaphysical, the kind of stuff I love. I’ve actually met Prince in person as well, in San Francisco at a record store. He had quite a following of look-a-likes at the Studio West dance club, in Embarcadero, San Francisco.
Studio West San Francisco: In the early to mid-’80s, this was one of the best clubs. It was along the Embarcadero with beautiful views. People used to come from all over, the scene was mostly rap, with some techno, along with the favorites back then including Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson, etc. …Lot of young folks, especially Asians, Mexicans, & Blacks.
I’ve always liked Prince; I was like a Prince’s-head. I followed him from the very beginning with the first album that I remember, Soft and Wet. I’ve seen him in concert as well. He is amazingly energetic and performs nonstop for 3 or more hours.

In Inner Peace Part Two, in this follow-up to yesterday’s post, I provide limited personal commentary. The focus here is on what has been said about Inner Peace by those in Faith & Science.
I have said what I had to say and tried my best to describe the experience. In this post, I focus on what Scientists, Doctors, Prophets, and Spiritual Leaders have said about Inner Peace.
I sincerely share this post to proclaim that Inner Peace is the most valuable gift that God has given us.
In Inner Peace lies Acceptance, Surrender, Trust, Belief, and Patience. These virtues are beneficial to the body, mind, and spirit.
Inner Peace was not always accessible to me. At a time when I earned six figures, I stressed my mind and spirit to keep money flowing. That was over 20 years ago before I became a new man. Today, friends and colleagues attempt to entice me to return to ‘the game’, to be it in IT, bitcoin investments, small business adventures, or money-making ideas du jour.
I have no plans to return to that noisy chaotic world again, though. I fear what money and chasing after it would do to the Inner Peace that I now have. I never want to lose this. I have no interest in going viral or monetizing for profit. Over a year ago, I deleted my Facebook, Linked In, and other social media accounts.
I do wish to reach more people but to do so, unfortunately, costs money. So, I reach who I can on my personal but limited budget. But I do, therefore, maintain my Inner Peace.
Achieving Inner Peace in the New World Order, in our new post coronavirus world, is essential. There are many human challenges that can distract us from this gift, and worse can bring out the worse in us.
Many years ago, I recognized the importance of maintaining a peaceful state of mind. That’s likely because my life has always been dynamic, intense, and bursting with passion, since birth, I’ve experienced, and been told.

Over 30 years ago, I began a ‘deep dive’ into my own spirituality. This exploration was a personal one, whereby I sought to establish a relationship between me and God. …A really close one, with no one in between, for no one seemed True. I did not want the layer of religion or the church between us, though.
I respect religion and the church, but I put them in proper perspective, with regard to spirituality. I’ve found that religions and churches often deviate from what should be their main focus, addressing other priorities, such as tiding, fundraising, televangelism, and social media. …popularity, materialism, etc.
They do a get deal of charity ministries as well. It’s not directly their fault, but the sources of their funding, contribute to making poverty and inequity comfortable, instead of working to totally eliminate it, making those that they help self-sufficient.
Generally speaking, they continue such ministries, foundations and governments keep funding their causes, people keep receiving, but their long-term status remains the same.
Though these efforts may be well-intentioned spiritually, they impeded the closeness that I needed to have with the God of my understanding. I seek, still today, enlightenment. Beyond wisdom and faith, I want to be immersed in the spirit of God.
Furthermore, I wanted to shape the image of the God of my understanding. God bestowed me with this free will. I wanted to use this blessing to see God as I wanted to based on my journey, failures, triumphs, and ever-evolving wisdom.
I longed to see the God in me, and in every living creature. I longed to experience a multidimensional sensee of God, not a one-dimensional one.

I remember, in early 2000, when participating in an exercise that Minister Rev. Barry Vennard, of Unity Church, asked participants, in a Unity Church spiritual workshop to do. This exercise still sticks with me today.
Minister Vennard asked all participants to close their eyes and imagine God as they would like him to be. He asked that we imagine how he would be towards us? Would he judge us? How would he treat us when we made mistakes? What would he say about our pain, mistakes, defeats, and victories? How would he encourage us through our trials? …And so on and so forth.
I hold mothers in the deepest regard. I believe that mothers are closer to heaven than any other humans.
For example, when I learned about the magnificence of the human body, it became undeniable that God is real. Man could never create such a magnificent creation as a human being. A mother can, though.
I give mothers spiritual reverence because of this. They make a covenant with the Universal Divine Mother (God) to create children. Childbirth is a partnership between Mothers & God.
My mother was incredibly special to me. She’s, my angel. I’ve said repeatedly that we should honor mothers while they are here. and worship them when are gone. I worship my mother today and honored her when she was with me, especially while in my care, in her later years.

Reconciling Creativity
I’m not sure if you realize how much work goes into my blog posts.
My fellow bloggers may understand. I can spend anywhere from 30 minutes to 6 hours on one post, including performing the necessary research.
Keeping my blog-spot fresh and active takes lots of work. It has pulled me away from poetry.
My poetry tends to be spontaneous. I write about what comes to mind, on any given day.
Since emotions and spirit constant change, I have been able to poetically express nearly every sentiment I’ve had. This is helpful for blog posts, because almost any topic I select, I can usually find a corresponding poem that I’ve written.
But, the blog has made it challenging to be loyal to creating new poems, though I have created a few.
I’ve said this before, but I will say it again as a preface to this post. I do so boldly because I am not afraid of talking about those things that no one wants to discuss or admit. I enjoy courageous conversations. Those who are so brave are often the pioneers of progress. We should all speak up and speak out.
With all the coronavirus hype, I believe that there is a great deal of mind control at work. It amazes me how it seems the whole world “Follows” whatever is popular in media, such as raiding shelves of toilet tissue, fearing the coronavirus, making hasty decisions without question or investigation, “Liking” Nas X’s depicted encounter with Satan, twerking, being a “bad bitch”, or whatever.
Most people are being programmed and don’t realize it.
Well, we all are, including me, but I realize it. It is mainly being done for profit. AI is now forming our perceptions and emotions. I know this! I am very connected with the latest AI, machine learning movements. I have an over 20-year career history in technology.
For the first-time caregiver, taking care of a loved one can be overwhelming so there is a bit of responsibility for seniors to plan for the day when they may need someone to care for them. But they must also plan for having a sustainable lifestyle that makes their later years their finer years.
Though the experience of caregiving can get grueling, if plans are not in place, seasoned caregivers will tell you, with a little guidance, it can also be one of the most fulfilling experiences life has to offer.

As having served as a sole caregiver for my mother as she approached 100 years old, I will not glamourize the journey of caregiving for an elder, especially when coming from a large family, and having a mother who made no concrete plans for her care. It was a topic that she and the family avoided.
Fortunately, my experience ended as one of the most profound in my life.
But glamour came only after my work was done, and God took over. Now, I smile every day that I think of my mother, knowing that I gave all that I could when she needed me, as she did when I was a child, and I needed her.
I did not realize until years later, that it would be “the most fulfilling experiences life has to offer.”

This is what I call a freehand post.
This is why I am posting it so late into the morning, for me. I generally wake up early in the morning with the spirits, good ones of course.
I am in Washington Park, Denver Colorado, USA. I’m about to ground, pray, and meditate.
Today is Mother’s Day. This is always an emotional time for me because I loved my mother intensely. We loved and trusted each other equally. You could say I was her Golden Child. I treated her like a queen. Caring for her in her final year near costed every thing I possessed, nearly my life. And, if I could have given, for her, I would have.
I travelled the world with her, Africa, Europe, The US, Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, Middle East, and more. She was “my favorite girl in the world”.
This was magical for her, She was a humble woman, born into servitude.
She lived through the Great Depression, the Spanish Influenza Pandemic, served as a maid for nearly 50 years, raising 5 children, and 9 of her own.
She was left to solely care for her mother and grandfather and forgave her high school education to serve, when called.
She was incredible, born on the Day of the Feast of the Guardian Angels!
She is now my Guardian Angel.
She taught me how to smile, through storms, and how to conquer them.
She placed fire in my heart to be passionate in Faith, Truth, Determination, and Serving, or not at all.
With itself and the Nobel Peace prize winner prime minister is dropping bombs the way Obama released drones to wherever he thought there were terrorists lurking. Any bystander death was collateral damage for the greater good.
Some country in the old Soviet Union is at war too.
Everywhere there is war or rumors of war. Can’t we choose our struggles wisely? Maybe deal with the pandemic before we start killing one another for territory
Stress is nothing but any type of change that causes emotional, physical or psychological strain. Stress is something that requires attention or action by your body.
“The way you respond to stress makes a big impact on your overall well being”.
When stress is created by undesired outcomes then it becomes “Distress” and when stress is created by desirable and successful effects it is called “Eustress”.
It is wholly dependent on us whether we make it distress or eustress.
Psychologically you are giving a positive connotation to one thing and negative connotations to others.
Today we are going to talk about the most urgent problems; atherosclerosis, hypertonic diseases, varicose (widening and hardening of the veins) Atherosclerosis, Is cholesterol good or bad? The fact is that cholesterol is the building material for our brain cells and for the sexual hormones oestrogen. Women today are that attractive and beautiful because of that hormone. Men also have it, but only to a lesser degree. And it is cholesterol that splits fatty acids, which participates in the digestion of fat in our body. If we do not eat cholesterols, then we deprive our brain of a building material; sexual hormones begin to suffer less bile acid is produced, digestion of fat is disturbed and we begin to gather fat (obese).
I could not wait to get this message out, and therefore am publishing it raw, with limited supporting information.
But I promise to send a subsequent post, under the DEVIRUSIZE series, that will explain what I have thoroughly research, questioned, and personally experienced in managing my health successfully for over 30 years, holistically, and through True Faith In God.
This post will be very raw and direct. Some may find that I am preaching. I am far from a preacher, but I do believe that I possess equivalent passion.
I do not mean to hate on anyone who chooses or has chosen to get vaccinated. You probably take many prescription drugs, and likely have had many vaccines. That is your right to, and I respect that.
But don’t hate on me for not choosing to get vaccinated. Don’t worry about me perhaps spreading coronavirus. You should have nothing to worry about. You’ve been vaccinated.
But as for me, I have not been vaccinated in my entire adult life, and my health is better than those that I know who have.
Apprehension of vaccinations and prescription drugs has done something unexpected to me.
It has elevated my faith in God and my desire to strive towards, that which I will never fully attain but will never stop trying to, Spiritual Perfection.
It has left me with a tremendous responsibility as well. I must strive to do everything as naturally (close to God’s paradise) as I can in terms of diet, lifestyle, exercise, connecting with nature, and stress management to show to God that I’ve honestly done my part to manage my own wellbeing, before sporadically running to man, whose motivator may be profit.
I apologize to Dr. Bob Rich (Bob) for the delay in posting this article. It was submitted to me weeks ago, and outside of a busy schedule, my spirit has been a bit fragile.
Like many I would suppose, I have been emotionally and spiritually impacted by the whirlwind of challenges and changes that planet Earth and civilization have been catapulted into enduring over the past year. I have been significantly enlightened by how your challenges have separated us along many fronts including racially, politically, spiritually, and “vaccine vs. no vaccine”.
Today’s divisions seem to pale in comparison with historical ones. I have separated from many spirits vibes, and energies that no longer serve me, some in my family, some close friends. In today’s times, I find it necessary.
Gaining a better understanding of God, Life, and Myself is an undeniable blessing. But it is also a challenging responsibility. It can be draining at times and requires an escape from it all, as well as regular metaphysical practices. Kevy

Real Talk On Family Betrayal – Don’t Believe Those Closest To You Won’t Deceive You

It made me the convicted man that I am today. The experience of solely caring for my mother to the disdainful evil undermining of my siblings, extended family, friends and their cohorts molded me.

Though it nearly killed me, and caused me to lose nearly everything I’d owned, I never relented in my obligation to my mother, and to God.

Ironically, nearly everyone who came to our aid during my mother and my trials wasn’t Black or family.
Repeatedly, God sent angels to us who were often White or Latino, some that we did not know.

I was raised Catholic. My mother was devout. As a result, I know a whole lot about the importance of prayer and faith, but not much about the bible.
I can’t recite stories or verses off of the top of my head, like holy rollers.
But that doesn’t bother me. I don’t need a facade of ‘the word‘ to deflect from my true spirit, my true essence.
My sincerity exudes on its own. My spirituality is more organic, gained through life’s trials.
I follow no rules because rules are written in a book. Those rules are written on my heart.
I simply follow the spirit of God within me, and later find that there was a spiritual law for that.

I’ve been terribly busy lately. It seems that my life has gone from zero to 100 with the beginning of the new year. Aspirations have not manifested as I desired. They are unfolding, not as I expected, but I am non-resistant to what God and The Universe guide me to and reveals to me.
I’ve been every-day busy! And my list of projects seems to go nowhere! …While my mind keeps adding new ideas to the list. I have at least five posts and videos in the incubator that I refuse to rush until I have time. But I never seem to have the time and mindset in sync to complete them.
I apologize to guest blogger Brandyce for taking so long to create this post. We have been both busy and have gone back and forth in its conceptualization. She is as busy as I am, and our schedules often were not in sync. I am posting it now to honor my commitment but wish I have more time to do it right.

You see, I’ve given up on the world being saved, Instead, I am creating my own world of like vibration spirits, within The World. You are in my world. I am in yours. Brandyce is a part of the beautiful community that we created that I want to share with you.
I promised to share my eclectic music tastes with you. I love electronic rock, especially from Europe.
Depeche Mode has to be one of my all-time favorite groups. I love their Euro industrial electronic rock sound., But more than that, I love that their messages, so bold and so raw. The messages resonate with me.
I’ve been a big fan of Depeche Mode. I think their 1st album was Construction Time Again. I love almost every song on that album. I’ve been into Depeche Mode for a long time but recently, I guess because of my membership in Spotify, YT Music, and Pandora, as well as other music streaming services, I stumble on old songs that I used to love, that I almost forgot about.
I don’t listen to new music much at all. Anyway, there is a remarkably interesting story behind me rediscovering how much I love Depeche Mode.
I have not posted lately for a reason. I have been so reflective lately on so many issues that surround us that I decided to take a break. Remember, since my writings are spirit deep, I only write when I feel the spirit.
I have also been faced with a challenge about following my passion (my Dharma) or following the money, based on what my corporate skills and expertise can attract. I decided against the latter. I refuse to chase money as most people that I know do. I am following with my perceived purpose because the freedom that it allows is priceless. I will write a post about choosing between Purpose vs. Money later.
With this post, I decided to return to music. The next few posts will be featuring some of my eclectic musical tastes. Not to worry, I will return to expressing many Life Seasons topics that I face, and that others may face. But for now, I choose to use music to bring our blog community together.
This is another one of those deep, heartfelt posts. I hope that you take the time to review it in its entirety. This is real talk. If it is not inviting to you, that is fine too. It is about being gifted. I Am. You can be too, by doing one thing. The gift has already been given to you by The Most High. Accepting it, and God’s desire for your use of this gift transforms you from merely being a gift recipient into being Gifted. I Am Gifted.
I’m gifted, I can now say!
How arrogant, narcissistic, and egotistical you may first say. But I believe that we all have a spiritual gift. God has endowed us all with a spiritual gift that cannot be taken away. It can’t be reversed. It’s in us all. It’s like death. Death is certain. There’s nothing that can reverse it. Our endowed gift from God in within us. Whether we accept it or not, it is still in us.
I know that I’m gifted. My confidence dwells in my willingness to accept the gift that God has given me. Proclaiming this is not based on any superior intentions. Many of us have gifts. We all have gifts that God has given us all. It is our dharma, a purpose, a mission. What makes us gifted, as opposed to just having a gift, is our willingness to acknowledge and accept that gift.
Now that I am well on my spiritual journey, maintaining Integrity has become of greater importance in every choice that I make or action I take.
The reason I give Integrity such importance has to do partly with my age and experience. And, having had many people in my life who were not “of their word”. …Friends, Family, and Colleagues.
The choices and challenges that I face today are generally not new ones. As they say, ‘This is not my first rodeo’. It seems that most of the choices I face today are ones in which I am already well-experienced. On most challenges to my Integrity, I have made incorrect choices in the past, and am well aware of the consequences of not being true. So, I ensure that I am, no matter what the truth may bear.
It may not be easy for others to make the correct choices, and to be regarded as men or women of their my word. …Not I!
Aging has also caused me to focus more on a legacy. My legacy is important to me. The reason it is of such importance is that when God comes for me, I want to be able to leave a message, purpose, and inspiration behind for others.
I am very serious about leaving a legacy. My tombstone is already engraved with: ‘His mission on Earth is complete’.
I simply do not see my life today as exclusively dedicated to myself. I do for others in daily deeds, but also for my best virtues to be reflected upon and be useful to others.

This is a Feel-Good post. I hope that you want to feel better today. I do. We need it. I will try my best with this post.
The vibration in the atmosphere has been tense. I believe that the Lord wants us to have more alone time to reflect and reconcile our differences with The World, to perhaps lead us to reconciliation, inner peace, and Love. I have had to go inward and introspective on a daily to keep my vibe up high.
Today, my vibe is very elevated! I am looking forward to the new life that begins each day. I see sleep as dying each night and waking reborn.
But this moment, the new Season just before us, post-Lobster, post-COVID19, post-insurrection, post-everything 2020 is more eagerly anticipated by everyone. The unknowns and adventure of it all can be absolutely exhilarating, if you are imaginatively creative, and are vibrating higher than most. I am that way today. Are you?
I am looking forward to a more discerned and refined me, blossoming in this new Springtime. For I know that Spring always comes. Always, period point-blank.

Tomorrow, or late today, I will post a tribute to Stevie Wonder. He is of God if a man ever was. In this post, I will celebrate his incredible talent, brilliance, and elevated vibration. Stevie is a prophet to me. Against, popularity, profit, or fame, I can see as he sees, and express that which I witness, when most see nothing there.
I am excited to feature COLORADO POET in this post, once again.
I regularly invite other bloggers to share their perspectives on any topic. I invite you, right now. We do not have to all agree but must be respectful of each other.
I believe that we must regularly engage with each other, feature each other, as Colorado Poet and I do, if we are serious about healing as a civilization.
I am privileged to have a blogger like Colorado Poet who is sincerely open to sharing her talent in the interest of creating better relations, understanding each other, and for plain friendship.
Her brand appeals to me. …A lot! I searched her site and easily selected several poems that resonate with me.
I love how the brevity of her poems efficiently utilizes the writing landscape. This is clearly not one of my strengths, as evidence by my lengthy posts that sometimes seem like novels.
She uses imagery quite effectively with her poems, identifying the picture’s location. I can tell that she puts great effort into selecting the perfect picture. So, with each poem, I included her chosen image for that poem. I also included links to her site all over the place. Check Colorado Poet out.
Who would have thought that one of my favorite gospel groups is the Canton Spirituals? …Sam Cookeand the Soul Stirrers too.
I guess I’m mixed-up that way, being raised Catholic, not knowing the bible like my ABCs, I’m not religious. But I’m spiritual, and I love the Canton Spirituals. Let me try to explain.
I don’t know which reason prevails in my attraction to the good gospel music of the Canton Spirituals, and others.
I know that since its Southern Gospel it appeals to me, off the back because I am from South Louisiana. It also appeals to me because the group presents gospel music in a bluesy kind of way. Sometimes, I get the blues like every else does. The songs tell stories of trials on Life’s Road and achieving victory through faith. The Blues, in this case, gives me Hope.
In today’s turbulent times it would be prudent to go within to examine yourself. There is something very beautifully unique about each of us that we must discover and share with the world.
Now is the time to calibrate our spirits, fine-tune our vibrations. This is something over which we have complete control, unlike our uncertain future, given today’s racial protests and the coronavirus pandemic.
Tuning the spirit is the most that we can do to prepare ourselves for what may come, which is an unknown. Though what awaits us is a mystery, we would be better prepared to rest on a strong identity of self and a fortified spiritual foundation than not.
I am basking in the joy of having elevated my spirit years ago. During today’s Racial Revolution and COVID19 pandemic, I have not been fearful. In fact, my creativity and energy have been elevated, as well. For me, it is an exciting time. In contrast, I see a correlation between those not in touch with their inner spirit and being fearful, worried, and physically unhealthy.
This post is based on the principles in the book The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, by Deepak Chopra. Today we focus on the Spiritual Law of Dharma. Dharma is your purpose in life. This law requires that we find life’s purpose for the spiritual embryo within ourselves and pursue it with vigor.
When I first reintroduced the Seven Spiritual Laws series, I adapted it for the crisis of the day, which was only the coronavirus pandemic. I only covered one of the spiritual laws so far, The Law of Detachment. I took the liberty of rearranging the order of Deepak Chopra’s laws because they work in order, individually and in mixed order when you practice them regularly.
I believe that God inspired my thought to post about Love today. I am not being as self-important as this may sound.
Most people do believe that God created the universe. We may differ on exactly who God is, or if the name is really God, but most of us agree that man did not create the universe. That is outstanding that most of us can surrender our egos to a higher power.
Most believe that some entity, character, energy, spirit, or vibration created the universe, and therefore created us.
So, if “God” created us, and if we believe in “God”, then we must believe that “God” guides us, inspires us, sends us messages and visions.
God sent me a vision to create this post. It occurred, as it usually does when I was jogging the other day. I listened to Stevie Wonder’s album Songs In The Key Of Life. I was mesmerized by the song Love’s In Need of Love Today. I was in awe over all of the songs on this album, but especially this song.
“Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love.” – Lao Tzu
The lyrics and artistry deliver a compelling-needed message, in a most bone-chilling way. I am sure that God gives Stevie Wonder such visions too. Stevie said himself, on one of the video performances below the “Love is starving for itself”. I liked it so much, I used in the title.
I don’t celebrate Christmas in a very commercial way. Nonetheless, this past Christmas was one of my most special Christmases. I gave no material gifts. I could not afford to. But instead, I received and shared the love of my heart with others close to me, quite randomly.
This past Christmas made me feel proud also!
It made me feel that my mother, in heaven, was smiling down on me. One of my dearest friends, who I supported in the past, and who supported me, surprised me with money when I really needed it to catch up on bills.
He reminded me of times that I was there for him when he needed me. I was but without expectation. That is why it felt so special. This friend’s family is my family. They are lovingly spiritual. I am there for them if they ever need me. They poured their spirit, all the way from Costa Rica, into my Christmas, complete with pictures that exuded God’s spirit.
Then a highly intelligent and honorable friend from India sent me a gift unexpectedly. I haven’t seen him in about 20 years when we worked together on IT projects.
He reminded me of back then, when I supported him, believed in him. Now he is a success as a businessman, family man, in the spirit Knowledge, Happiness, and Krishna. He told me that he considers me as his brother. I feel the same way and am available to help him with his visions in whatever way I can.
My neighbor and I collaborate on video projects. We have conversations about videos, music, creativity, and life in general. He is a mentor to ‘his homies’, who are younger than him. I am like a mentor to him, because I am as many years older than he is, as he is older than his ‘homies’.
He and I sprang gifts on each other this Christmas. Not so much wrapped with bows. Rather impromptu gifts of appreciation, backed with conversations filled with true authenticity and gratitude.
The highlight of my Christmas was being spontaneously invited to dinner by someone in the media that I admire. I help him as much as I can because I feel really good vibes from him. …And it helps that he is really smart, with a humble peaceful spirit.
He invited to dinner with his family, mask-free. I am sure, because of his spiritual upbringing, that he realized that he shared the loving spirit of his family with me, in addition to the wonderful meal that each member of the family prepared. I felt love in his home, beyond what I have felt in support from him on media projects.
I offered my skills, talents, and time to him and his family sincerely. And I mean it. If there is a way that I can assist in the future, I’m on it!

Afrobeats make me move my feet, where I can’t sit in my seat.
There is so much on my mind right now. There so much on everybody’s mind.
You can only imagine how much we must be filled with thoughts, having to research all the things we hear, constantly tuning into media and social media.
The Truth can be shocking and a bit discouraging at times.
This may be one reason why so many don’t dig deep to find facts. Relying solely on media news and social media is the easy way out.
The events and uncertainties in life are overwhelming right now.
It has taken me over one month to prepare this post on the COVID19 vaccine. It is extensive and required a great deal of research. Many may not read it. That’s okay. I am not trying to reach puppets or androids. I am trying to reach those who take personal ownership of their own well-being, and who don’t follow everything that they are told to do.

We’ve gotten so touchy and evangelistic about everything these days, racial issues, healthcare, taxes, global warming, and now it’s the COVID19 vaccine.
I appreciate that everyone has a right to have their own opinion about the vaccine. Whether they are taking it or not doesn’t bother me. But some people just get out right upset with you, if like myself, have decided that you’re just not taking it.
I haven’t taken the flu, pneumonia, measles, shingles, or none of those vaccines. The last vaccines I remember taking were when I was anywhere from 5 to 8 years old, and I’m standing strong. Those who take them regularly as adults often have poorer health than I do.
The Center For Disease Control (CDC) recommends 13 different vaccines for adults. I have taken none of these as an adult.
I will never say never. I never say never about anything in life, so I can’t never say I take the vaccine. But it’s not anything that I am considering anytime soon. I’ve done my research and I’ve provided a list of reasons why I’m not rushing to take the COVID19 vaccine. Maybe you should consider these things as well, especially if you fit into my demographic.
Deciding not to take the vaccine wasn’t a difficult decision. I arrived at this decision rather easily, in spite of being exposed to COVID19, testing positive, then subsequently testing negative 3 times.
I have several reasons and I’m sure that further research will probably give more reasons why taking the COVID19 vaccine is not right for me, at this time.
I respect those who choose to take the vaccine as soon as it becomes available to them. That is their choice and right, such as mine. I am not trying to convince anyone of anything with regard to the vaccine, except for one thing.
This one thing I encourage everyone to do on every decision, research. Do not make your decisions purely based on fear, media, hearsay, or even religion. After doing your due diligence, then follow your heart, the part of us all where God’s spirit resides. My heart tells me not now for the COVID19 vaccine.
Yesterday, Black Entertainment Television’s (BET) Soul Train Pass the Mic series showed up on my YouTube feed. It is probably because I have liked and subscribed to the Soul Train channel videos when selecting ones for prior posts.
I have especially fond memories of Soul Train. As a teenager, I always wanted to be a Soul Train dancer. I was once a dancer on a local television dance show in New Orleans, called Get Down.
When I watched a few Pass the Mic episodes, it brought me back to happier days. It accentuated how much we have digressed. I needed the feel-good part.
DJ Cassidy, the host DJ, keeps the show energetic and vibrant. It is great to watch various R&B stars from the 1980s sing to their hit songs in their homes. Cassidy Zooms from his home, switching from one hit R&B song and legend, to the next. He interjects words that encourage and keeps the crowd going. It is a wonderful experience, given that many of us are locked in.
I know it may seem that I’ve been slacking on posts, but I really haven’t. I’ve been working in the background.
But also, I have days where I may have a little anxiety about the times we’re in.

I wish more of us would admit that we’re going through shit. Because there’s a lot of stuff that’s going on. It’s a lot to comprehend. It’s a lot of uncertainty. It’s challenging our Faith, challenging our truth, and it’s challenging who we are. We should just admit that we’re going through things.
On my good days, however, I am creating. I have upcoming posts on the That Monkey. I have another post that’s coming up on Truth Decay. And I want to do a post on vaccines because that’s not for me when it comes out.
So, I thought I’d give you a little teaser for now, while I create more content for you, in the background.
The other day, I was just stumbling through my YouTube feed and ran across Common in a studio performance. And it was incredibly beautiful! It shows me that we share a common vibe. I’ve always liked Common. He shows me that what he’s saying is what I’ve been saying in most of my posts. …About this revolution.

This is not unusual, except for us. We don’t normally recognize seasons, in the air, our minds, and spirits, as the animals, trees, and plants do because we are distracted. Well, now we do.
Also, every last one of us is experiencing a certain degree of uncertainty about what the new season will bring.

I was speaking to a friend the other day and I was telling her that I am not sure if I could ever be in a close relationship, live with another person or even engage with my family. She agreed with me for much the same reasons.
I know it sounds a little strange but it’s not at all. I’m in spirit now more than into people. I enjoy Being alone. I have so many rituals that I follow which keeps me at a higher vibration. …Rituals such as grounding on a regular basis, meditation, and prayer daily. I have a lot of health rituals such as juicing, also do mineral baths, with salt and oils. I have a creative side where I’m writing, making videos, as well as putting content out on the blog.
I am fortunate to have been introduced to the Indian culture over 20 years ago. Indians are very dominant in the IT Systems field. This is where I spent most of my career. They are exceptionally brilliant people. We worked well together on many projects in some of the world’s largest corporations. I still keep in touch with several Indian friends that I’ve worked with within the United States, and abroad.
But what attracts me most to Indian culture is greater than their intelligence. It is their peacefulness and inner light that draws me to them. Their vibration is immensely powerful especially to those like me who have meditated for over 20 years, and who is curious and open to all cultures and faiths.
I have attended Indian weddings, baby rituals, and have been invited to dinner in the homes of Indian families, which was all a great honor. Every event and venue were full of love and joy and was quite colorful. I love colors. I see them as a reflection of God’s light in a myriad of God-created hues. Light is energy; therefore, colors have a power that can influence our spirit. The Indian culture knows this well, as I do.
I love meeting people from around the world through my Seasons As Our Teacher blog site. I find meeting International people through my blog often as more authentic than people that I meet in person or have known for years.

I have been juicing and blending fruit and vegetables for at least 15 years now. I do both actively, but prefer juicing. I like to drink freshly prepared juices especially when I am fighting a minor illness or when detoxing, which is always since our environment and food supply is full of toxins. My juicing and smoothie regiment is a critical aspect of my Devirusizing protocol. But drinking freshly prepared juices is not equal to drinking smoothies. One is clearly better than the other. In this post, I will explain the differences as I see it, and have researched it.
When I worked at Whole Food Markets, I regularly asked customers, who were “strictly organic”, to consider a regiment for detoxing, daily, monthly, and quarterly. Many who go “strictly organic” do not detox, seeming to imply that being “strictly organic” alleviates this need. This is an illusion, in my opinion.
It is much wiser to eat organic when it matters. Refer to the 2020 Dirty Dozen & Clean 15 Lists to determine when it matters. On this list released each spring, the Environmental Working Group (also known as the EWG) publishes a list of fruits and vegetables that experts at the nonprofit say contain elevated levels of pesticides that may be concerning. Now known as the Dirty Dozen list to health experts and in-the-know shoppers, the list has long called conventional farming methods into question, especially as the EWG also publishes a competing list called the Clean Fifteen that highlights produce containing little to no pesticides when grown conventionally.
It is better to eat organic when it matters, and wiser to not assume that there is no need to detox periodically. For in spite of going organic, we must accept that we are still living in a toxic world on many levels. We should include detoxing in our health practices. It is much wiser to complement healthy food choices, with detoxing. Juicing (and drinking plenty of distilled water) is a great practice for detoxing. This is a smarter way to Devirusize.
I also meet many people who sing the praises of juicing or blending (smoothies). Most people choose one over the other. Most that I’ve met, prefer smoothies over juices. They state obvious pros for smoothies, and cons for juicing, but leave out many pertinent facts when making this comparison. This is consistent with how most people practice being “healthy”, without pertinent facts.
I liken drinking fresh juices to drinking medicine, because it goes into the bloodstream within minutes, not requiring much digestion. Think about drinking a cocktail. After a few minutes, you feel it, because the alcohol goes into your bloodstream rather quickly. The same happens with juices, but not with smoothies. I hope that most people who read my post don’t think that I’m full of rage and anger because I’m not.
I am simply a Black man who has been through a lot of trials, and who’s well-traveled, analytical, educated, and brave enough to speak my mind. I really don’t care if my reality has a dismal aspect. It is simply what I’ve experienced in my life, good, bad, and ugly.
Though many Black people don’t speak their true minds, I do my best to encourage them to speak their minds in response to my opinions, even if they disagree with me. I won’t shun them. Sometimes they do comment on my posts. Sometimes they do so in private. Many despise me because of my views as oppose to discussing why they feel differently. That their “monkey”, not mine. I will explain “The Monkey” in a future post.
But I am only sharing with you how I managed through The Revolution that we’re currently in. …And, through the trials that you may experience.
For one, I manage through practicing daily meditation. I’ve done so for about 30 years. I have posted on meditation, as well as on prayer, which too is a long-time daily practice of mine. I do grounding as well. All these things keep me at a higher vibration in spite of expressing frustrations with the things that I’ve experienced. …The things I experienced today. …The trials in which I’ve endured.
But this post is about music. Music is a big part of my life. I see it as the background theme music of every scene and mood in my daily life. …As if my life is video content. I use music to calibrate my mood and spirit whenever it requires calibration.
